OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY:

1. Develop a Digital Check-in System: Design and implement a robust digital check-in system

tailored to the specific needs of the Outpatient Department (OPD) at Ospital ng Muntinlupa

(OSMUN), incorporating features such as ID verification and digital information completion.

2. Enhance Operational Efficiency: Evaluate and quantify the impact of the digital check-in system

on the efficiency of patient check-in processes, aiming to reduce wait times, minimize

paperwork, and optimize resource utilization within the OPD.

3. Ensure Data Accuracy and Security: Implement stringent data validation measures within the

digital check-in system to ensure the accuracy and security of patient information, complying

with relevant healthcare data protection regulations and standards.

4. Evaluate User Experience: Assess the user experience of both healthcare staff and patients

interacting with the new digital check-in system, seeking feedback to make iterative

improvements and enhance overall satisfaction.

5. Facilitate Seamless Integration: Explore opportunities for seamless integration of the digital

check-in system with existing hospital information systems, electronic health records, and other

relevant databases to ensure a cohesive and interconnected healthcare ecosystem.

6. Provide Training and Support: Develop training programs for healthcare staff to effectively use

and manage the digital check-in system, accompanied by ongoing support mechanisms to

address any challenges encountered during the transition.

7. Contribute to Best Practices: Synthesize findings and experiences from the implementation at

OSMUN to contribute insights and best practices for the broader healthcare community,

fostering a culture of continuous improvement in patient check-in processes.
