2. Use font 12 of either Calibri, Times New Roman or Arial

2. Attach a copy of the job opening taken from the classified ads or
jobstreet
3. a. First paragraph
State why you are writing, the position or type of work for which
you are applying. Mention how you heard or knew of the vacancy.
b. Second paragraph
Discuss why you are interested in this position, the company, and
its products. Describe your background (skills, accomplishments and
abilities)
c. Third paragraph
Thank the recipient for considering you for the position. State that
you would appreciate an interview for the opportunity and to
discuss how you could benefit the company. .
4. As a general rule, a short cover letter should be between 100 and 200
words, or about half a page, single-spaced. This length is just
enough to express your interest in the job. Showcase your relevant
skills, and leave the hiring manager eager to learn more about you
from your resume.
