Coating System P92

The option code for high temperature applications P92 has been equipped with a new coating
system. The curing of the components is effected by the influence of humidity. Thus it is no
longer necessary to thermally cure the valves.

For high-temperature coating systems, only the colors aluminum or black are possible as
opaque colors. Different top coats color are not possible because the high temperature
destroys the pigments. LESER uses aluminum as the standard color.

If customers only require specific colour coding, an additional top coat of a specific colour can
be applied. The customer must be informed that discolouration can occur at higher
temperatures in these applications.

No coating systems are available above 540°C [application limit]. Not even via the special
process.

Temperature limit for coating systems:

The P92 coating system is designed for use in the high temperature range above 120°C.There
is only one possibility for temperature input and therefore no distinction between temperatures
"reliving" and "operation".

In the temperature range from -25°C to 120°C, a "normal temperature coating system" P90;
P91; P93 should always be used, as this has the better corrosion protection properties in this
temperature range.
