Summary

"Kurokochii! I'm scared of him!" Kise said as he hug Kuroko.

"Kise-kun. Please let me go".
"I feel like he'll kill us in an instant, Kuroko," Midorima commented.
"He's not that bad, Midorima-kun."
"What's the deal with him, Tetsu?" Aomine question.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Aomine-kun."
"No wonder he wanted to kill me," Akashi off-handedly said.
"I already sweet talk him about that matter, Akashi-kun."
"So that's the downside of being part of Generation of Miracle," Takao snickers alongside
Kagami and Himuro.
"…"
"Does he wants snacks too, Kuro-chin?" Murasakibara said as he offered his chip to
Kuroko.
"Thank you. And no, he don't like snack that much, Murasakibara-kun."

.....

The Winter Cup just ended a few moments ago, with the Seirin High claiming the victory. It was a
challenging basketball game between the two teams. Still, every player can't deny that they indeed
enjoyed the game.

Mayuzumi Chihiro, unlike all of this teammates, is quite happy with the result. After all, if there is
someone who knew Kuroko Tetsuya's struggle to achieve his win, his team win, then it will be
Mayuzumi himself.

Kuroko Tetsuya, Chihiro's angelic, sweet, and cute little brother who will do everything for the
people he called friends. His little brother who comes to love, hate, and still find himself loving
basketball all over again. It may be silly for the others, but Mayuzumi understands his little brother
well, and he will support him no matter what.

"Alright, everyone, it's time to leave. Make sure you have all your things with you," Coach Eiji
Shirogane said to get his players' attention. Everyone then rechecks all of their belongings while
quietly chattering to each other. Yes, they lost, but it didn't mean the end of the world after all.

Akashi Seijuro watches his teammates do their things and notice how their only third-year starter
take a book out of his bag and hold it. Well, Mayuzumi-san can read everywhere, no matter the
situation. Akashi sighs when he remembers all the rude things he had said and done to the other
during the game earlier. He'll indeed apologize for that later.

As they walk out of their locker room, head high like the king they are, almost everyone notices
them and still looks at them with admiration.

"Mayuzumi-san! That's a great game! I didn't expect that you'll be playing against him" A
cheerful voice suddenly greeted their Phantom man. They look at their left and see someone with
chestnut-colored hair, while the lower part is darker brown. He has brown-colored eyes and in
average height. He's the kid who shouted for Seirin Phantom man when the other team is slowly
losing hope! The uncrowned kings and Akashi thought.

"Thank you Shigehiro-kun. It's been a long time. I'm glad that you are doing well." Mayuzumi
said with his I-don't-care-flat-monotone voice, but everyone can say that the word spoken is
genuine. This made Akashi curious. He knows that the person is called Ogiwara Shigehiro, Kuroko
Tetsuya's childhood friend. So for Mayuzumi-san to talk with this Ogiwara is strange for him. Why
are they so familiar with each other? Is the unasked question.

"Ne, Mayuzumi-san, I saw him glaring at you earlier. Is something wrong?" Ogiwara asked, this
shock the three uncrowned kings and even Akashi. The two know each other, so instead of
interfering (or leaving, as they are supposed to do), they just stand there and watch. The question
made Mayuzumi sigh and shook his head a little.

"The middle school graduation. I do have a valid reason though. He's being a brat again,"
Mayuzumi said in his I-give-up tone.

"Pft… so that's why. Well, I wish you good luck with that, Mayu-yu. We need to go now, Bye"
Ogiwara snickered at Mayuzumi before leaving. Mayuzumi just silently whispered, "Another
brat," then continued walking. This leaves the four spectators speechless. What just happened in
front of them? And who's "Him" they are talking about? Akashi actually has speculation about that
matter, very bad speculation that he wishes not to confirm.

Not all wish come true, Akashi said to himself as the five of them stopped at the Seirin team's
commotion with the Generation of Miracle members and some of their new teammates.
Murasakibara sharing his snacks with Mitobe, Himuro talking to Kagami, Kise, and Aomine
arguing at some nonsense, Takao, Izuki, and Imayoshi form a little group so is Hyuuga, Kasamatsu
and Otsubo, then Aida and Momoi having some girl moments, while the rest is actually having a
civil conversation.

It seems that everyone is just a typical High School student now that the game has finally ended.
He looks at the Seirin Phantom man on the sideline, who's watching everything with a contented
smile. How he misses Kuroko and that smile of him, Akashi can't really tell. This made Akashi
smile too. He's about to talk to Kuroko when Mayuzumi suddenly speaks.

"Tetsuya, Congratulation on your team's win. Here's my gift for you," Mayuzumi Chihiro, the
Rakuzan Phantom Man, said as he handed over a book to Kuroko Tetsuya, the Seirin Phantom
Man, who accepted the book with a smile.

"Thank you very much," Kuroko said, then he bowed down. This shocked everyone. Why is
Mayuzumi talking to Kuroko? Aren't they like rivals with their basketball style and all? Everyone
momentarily stops whatever they doing and looks at the two phantoms, whispering…

"Tetsuya? Did he just call him that?"

"Does he and Kurokocchi know each other?"

"They seem close."

"I feel like something important is about to happen."

"This looks fun haha."

"Maybe Mayuzumi is interested in Kuroko romantically?" is the question that Akashi registered.
This made his blood boil with anger. He can't have anyone liking Kuroko, his Kuroko, that way.
He already lost a year because of his other persona, and now that he's finally back, he's planning to
do everything he can to be in Kuroko's good grace again.

"But I'll take this as my middle school graduation gift, not today's win," Kuroko added with his
monotone voice and blank face as he looked, almost challengingly, at Mayuzumi.

"I already said sorry about that. I even had a valid reason, why are you still mad at me?"
Mayuzumi asked tiredly while looking at the youngest phantom man.

The exchange shocked the spectator more. The two Phantom Man know each other, familiar with
one another, even way back at middle school. This is big news for the Generation of Miracle
members. As far as they know, Kuroko only hang-out with the Teiko basketball team back then.
But, no matter how they feel at the moment, they think it's so wrong to speak and interrupt the two
phantoms who are now staring at each other with their perfect expressionless faces.

"Fine, fine. Celebrate with your team now. We will go out tomorrow. Buy some books and a
large vanilla milkshake. Will that be good to you?" Mayuzumi said as he gave up at the staring
contest, appeasing the youngest with his offer.

"I have no idea what's going on, but the offer is sweet."

"Kuro-chan sounds spoiled brat and Mayu-chan just letting him be."

"So they actually know each other even before the game? That's amazing!"

"I-is K-Kurokochii having a date with Mayuzumi tomorrow? I was just about to offer!"

"Kuro-chin will surely go since they are going to have a vanilla milkshake."

"Are they in a relationship?"

Whispered comments spread around as they waited for Kuroko's answer with the offer. Akashi is
now fuming mad at the sideline. (Oh, how he wishes he had his trusted scissors right now, it will
be fun having it thrown around. How dare he? How dare Mayuzumi Chihiro? How dare they? How
dare they talk about that as if watching a couple fighting?). Akashi thinks as the killing intent
around him goes high and high that the three uncrowned kings that surround him don't know if
they should run for their lives or calm down their little devil of a captain. (Calm down, Akashi
Seijuro, don't jump to conclusions like those around you. If they are romantically involved, so be it.
You lost your chance after all. However, if they are not, you'll do everything you can to have
Kuroko Tetsuya). Sighing, Akashi stops his internal monologue and just wait, he's an Akashi, and
an Akashi wouldn't jump to conclusions just like that.

"That's a lovely offer, Chihiro-onisan. How can I decline?" Kuroko finally said while flashing a
somewhat satisfied smile to the older phantom, "I win" is the message exchange between the two.

Suppose anyone is drinking or eating at the moment. In that case, they'll probably choke at the
relationship reveal (Are you okay Atsushi? here have a drink), or they'll probably break things they
are holding right now (Shin-chan! you're lucky item!) or they will be looking at someone and ask
through their eyes (Aomine and Kagami stop staring at each other like that!). Maybe the most
acceptable reaction is how the rest just froze, eyes blinking.

The two phantom men. One from Seirin High located in Tokyo, the original one. One from
Rakuzan High located in Kyoto, the second one. Are brothers, who would expect such… peculiar
thing?

On the other hand, Akashi finally realized the reason behind Mayuzumi-san and Ogiwara
Shigehiro's interaction earlier. Brothers, that they are, he got nothing to worry about anymore. (Oh,
how lovely. He forgot, Mayuzumi-san probably disapproved of him as of the moment. He'll need to
change that).

"Tetsuya you're such a brat, you know?"

"I'll kindly remind you of what Mayuzumi-san said before. 'You should blame the person who
raised Tetsuya, Chihiro' "

"I'm the one who raised you!"

"Kindly blame yourself then, Chihi-niichan."

So they are indeed brothers, no doubt about that. Both Rakuzan, Seirin, and even the Generation of
Miracle members are amused at the exchange. Both Phantom man is known for speaking a few
straightforward words. Them bickering like that is new.

"So Mayu-chin is your big brother, Kuro-chin? I didn't know Kuro-chin have a big brother"
Murasakibara asks for confirmation while he goes back munching his chips.

"Yes. Murasakibara-kun, he's my older brother. As for that, no one really asked if I do have
siblings." Kuroko deadpanned as if his reasons are the most acceptable reason there is.

"All of the rainbow kids are here. How annoying," Mayuzumi said as he looked around.

"Chihi-niichan, that's not nice. They are my friends," Kuroko scolded his brother while standing
up for the Generation of Miracle.

"I'm not a nice person, Tetsuya. And let it be known that I don't really like your former
teammates," Mayuzumi retort back, now glaring at everyone sans Kuroko.

"What's your problem with us?" Aomine asked, annoyed at the older phantom.

"You lot makes my little brother cry, is all." Came a straightforward answer from Mayuzumi.
This time all 5 members of the generation of miracles lower their heads, reflecting on their wrongs.

"Did I make you cry too, Kuro-chin? I'm sorry," Murasakibara said as he looked at the youngest
phantom.

"Chihi-niichan, we are good now. And no Murasakibara-kun you didn't make me cry." Kuroko
said as he looked at Chihiro, the four miracles, and smiled at Murasakibara. After all, he and
everyone else have a soft spot for the gentle giant.

"It is all in the past now after all. You're being grumpy again, Chihi-niichan. Is it because you
lost?" Kuroko inquired at Mayuzumi while he clung at the same time.

Mayuzumi just ruffled Kuroko's hair and said, "As if I sulk about losing a game against you,
Tetsuya. I'll be going now, I'll see you tomorrow" with the last head pat, he again glares at every
miracle except Murasakibara and leave.
"Kurokochii! You're big brother is scary!" Kise said as he hug Kuroko.

"Kise-kun. Please let me go".

"I feel like he'll kill us in an instant, Kuroko," Midorima commented.

"He's not that bad, Midorima-kun."

"What's the deal with your big brother, Tetsu?" Aomine question.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Aomine-kun."

"No wonder Mayuzumi-san wanted to kill me," Akashi off-handedly said.

"I already sweet talk him about that matter, Akashi-kun."

"So that's the downside of being part of Generation of Miracle," Takao snickers alongside
Kagami and Himuro.

"…"

"Is Kuro-chin big brother wants a snack too?" Murasakibara said as he offered his chip to
Kuroko.

"Thank you. And no, he don't like snack that much, Murasakibara-kun."

"YOSH EVERYONE ENOUGH WITH THIS. LET'S GO OUT AND EAT. EVERYONE'S
INVITED!" Coach Aida Riko said as she gathered her player and those who wanted to celebrate
with them outside.

Meanwhile, Chihiro is quite pleased with Akashi's reaction to his relationship with Tetsuya. He
noticed how that little daredevil he calls Captain has a fond and loving look whenever he
talks about Teikou Phantom Sixth Man. How Akashi Seijuro looks at Tetsuya every single
time.

If only Akashi is not one of those bastards who broke his baby brother's heart and his love for
basketball, maybe Mayuzumi will consider, but no.

It all now depends on Tetsuya and his feelings. Still, Mayuzumi will surely make it hard for
Akashi once he starts to make his move to Tetsuya

End Notes

A. As for Mayuzumi raising Kuroko part, when they were young and were introduced to
each other, Kuroko's parents were so busy. Then Mayuzumi acts older than his age. Hence,
he decided that he'd take care of his little brother. Mayuzumi Chihiro's dad is chill about it.
B. Ogiwara Shigehiro is the first friend that Kuroko introduce to his big brother. That's why
Mayuzumi calls him Shigehiro-kun. Ogiwara mostly calls him Mayuzumi-san, but when
he's teasing, he will call him Mayu-yu or Mayu-onisan.
C. Since Kuroko always speaks so formally, Chihiro-onisan is what he always used. When
he's younger, it Chihi-niichan/Chihi-ni, informal yet shows how close they are.
D. Chihiro was supposed to be in Tokyo during Kuroko's middle school graduation, but he
got so busy thus failed to come. (He never once visited Kuroko in Teikou)
