Routine Guide

This is a general guide to o!er recommendations on how to use DR's

Secret products in a routine for di!erent skin conditions.

Products are listed in sequence of use.

E.g. "Cleanser 1, Aqua Boost Serum 10, Refining Serum 9" means to
use Cleanser 1 as the first step, followed by Aqua Boost Serum 10
and Refining Serum 9.

There may be instances where products may be used twice in a

routine.
E.g. "Cleanser 1, Spot Serum 8, Refining Serum 9, Skinlight T3,
Refining Serum 9." This means that Refining Serum 9 should be used
in the third and fifth steps of the routine.

Refer to Gentle Reminders for more tips. We also encourage users

to approach their Skin Buddy for more customised routines and
personal guidance for best results.

Gentle Reminders

Skinlight T3

For dry & sensitive skin

Mix Skinlight T3 and Skinrecon T4.

For dry seasons or if skin feels dehydrated

Reduce the use of Skinlight T3 and hydrate with Toner T2, Aqua Boost
Serum 10 and/ or Moisturizer 6 liberally.

Sunscreen Products

For smoother application, wait for products to be absorbed by the skin

before applying Sunscreen 5, Sunscreen Matte 5M or Total Base A5.

Moisturisers

For sensitive, dry to normal skin

Recommend to use Moisturizer 6.

For dry seasons or if skin feels dehydrated

Use more Moisturizer 6.

For oily skin

Use Emulsion A6 or Aqua Boost Serum 10 to hydrate skin, depending
on skin needs.

For normal or combination skin

Consider mixing Moisturizer 6+Emulsion A6 or Emulsion A6+Refining
Serum 9 for lighter moisturising options.

Sensitive Skin

If skin is more sensitive, start with the conditioning routine "Soothing

Secrets - Recovery Starter Kit" and introduce new products gradually
one at a time to allow skin to adapt.

If any skin reaction ocurs, stop any intensive or treatment routine

immediately and apply conditioning routine to soothe skin:

Application Tips

Use finger tips to lightly apply products, no rubbing, tugging or patting

required. Use the press and roll method to gently massage Sunscreen
5, Sunscreen Matte 5M or Total Base A5 in.

Other than the sunscreens, products can be applied immediately over

each other with no waiting time required. It is normal for face to feel
'wet' after applying. Allow skin to absorb products normally without
patting dry.

Possible Skin Reactions during the Skin

Improvement Process

Depending on your skin types, you may experience the following

reactions during the skin improvement process when applying any DR's
Secret routine.

Most of these skin reactions occur due to insu"cient moisture in the

skin and a weakened or damaged skin barrier. We encourage new users
to work on conditioning, hydrating and strengthening the skin barrier
first before going on to more intensive treatment routines.

Blemishes

Skin may experience purging at the start with better skin renewal.This
might be more common to those with acne-prone skin and should last
for a few days to weeks depending on your skin condition.

If this persists or worsens, stop any intensive routine and return to

conditioning routine to soothe skin.

Skin Redness

Those with sensitive skin might be more prone to skin redness when
starting on new products. Always start with a conditioning routine to
strengthen the skin barrier and soothe skin.

For non-sensitive skin users, redness is usually due to increased blood

circulation. Use Moisturizer 6 and Refining Serum 9 to calm and cool
skin.

Roughness & Dullness

Promotion of skin renewal causes old dead skin cells to be accumulated

on the surface. Use physical exfoliants like Miraglo to remove the dead
skin cells buildup.

Skin will appear more radiant after skin renewal is completed.

Itchiness / Peeling

This is usually due to skin exfoliation, causing shedding of old dead skin.
If skin feels itchy and tight, this may be due to a lack of moisture,
hydrate more with Aqua Boost Serum 10 and/or Moisturizer 6,
depending on your skin needs.

Heat

You may experience a slight heat or tingle on your skin surface when
applying concentrated serums such as Skinlight T3 or C15 Essence 7.
Your skin may be getting accustomed to the concentrated active
ingredients and this sensation should wear o! after regular use. Use
Refining Serum 9 to cool skin.

*According to your skin type, you may experience di!erent reactions above. If such
reactions occur, stop any intensive or treatment routine immediately and apply
conditioning routine to soothe skin. If reactions persist or worsen, discontinue use
immediately and seek medical advice.
