1.0 INTRODUCTION
The 9.0 MWac Self Consumption Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic (Selco-LSSPV) plant has
operated since 20th April 2023 (from now on referred to as “the Plant”). This Selco-LSSPV
plant located in Sungai Selangor Phase 2 (SSP2) Water Treatment Plant, 45000 Bestari
Jaya, Selangor.
The maximum Plant AC Output is 9 MWac and while Plant DC capacity is 11.7216 Wdc
Peak. The generated Solar PV Energy exported to SSP2 WTP for own consumption,
through Point of Common Coupling (PCC) at 33kV SSP2 WTP Substation. The 33kV
Underground XLPE Cable is used as a medium of energy transmission from LSSPV Plant
to the Substation.
The main objective of this report is to conduct Reliability Run Test which is one of the test
requirements based on SEDA guideline. The reliability of the system is tested by using
Performance Ratio Test.
The performance ratio (PR) is a measure of the quality of a PV plant that depends
on the irradiance data, and it, therefore, often described as a quality factor. The
closer the PR value determined for a PV plant approaches 100 %, the more
efficiently the respective PV plant is operating. PR is calculated by following
equations:-
Item Value
Module Efficency, η𝑚𝑜𝑑 21.2%
Area of Array, 𝐴𝑝𝑣 (m2) = L x W x Qty
=1.303m x 2.384m x 17,760pcs
= 55,168.81 m2
Energy yield and Irradiation data have been collected from SCADA monitoring
system which is logging by the logger for every 5 minutes. Based on the PR
calculation, the performance of the plant from 20th August 2023 until 10th
September 2023 (22days) have been pass with the result ratio from 0.82 to 1.12
(excluding the day of irradiation data loss).
Summary of Daily Plant Performance Ratio (PR) is as follow: -

3.2 Capacity Test
Capacity Test is one of the requirements from the Developer to make sure plant
capacity is installed based on design at maximum output. The test is considered
pass if the plant output reached or greater than 9.0MWac at one time.
Based on the results, the plant have achieved maximum capacity test on 20 th
August 2023 and 24th August 2023. The Capacity Test have been considered
passed.

4.0 CONCLUSION
As the conclusion, reliability run test have been passed as per result from the test
conducted from IOD, 20th August 2023 until 10th September 2023. Performance Ratio
have achieved above 0.8 (Pass value from SEDA guidelines) during the period of the
testing. Capacity test also have been achieved, which have reached 9.0MWac on 20th
August 2023 and 24th August 2023.
