Find out the meaning and function of the following parts of the body.

The male reproductive system is made up of a group of organs that make up the urinary and
reproductive systems in males and those who are biologically determined to be male. Internal and
external components make up the male reproductive system. Both internal and exterior components
are found within your body. Together, these organs enable you to urinate (pee), engage in sexual
activity, and bear children.
The male reproductive function of the male reproductive system produces hormones like
testosterone. It also promotes spermatogenesis and transports sperm into the female reproductive
system for fertilization of their eggs.
2. The Testes
The male reproductive system is significantly influenced by the two egg-shaped sex organs known as
testes, or testicles. They produce testosterone and the sex hormone sperm cells, which are the
source of sperm production. The scrotum, a pouch of skin under the penis that contains the testes,
sometimes known as "balls," is where they are located. The testes are kept cooler than body
temperature because of their external placement, which provides the ideal conditions for the growth
of sperm cells.
The function of the testes is to make testosterone. Additional masculine traits, including body and
facial hair, as well as larger muscles, are brought on by the hormone testosterone. Also, it supports
libido (sex desire), sexual performance, and male fertility. The testes' role is to create sperm. Males
can create millions of sperm every day, in contrast to females, who can only produce a limited

number of eggs in their lifetimes. The sperm cells must subsequently develop to the point of
functionality, which takes several months. Although maturation begins in the testes, most of it
happens inside the testicles, or epididymis.
3. The Penis
When a person is born biologically male, they have a complicated external organ called the penis
that they use for sex and urination. The head, shaft, and foreskin are all parts of the penis' structure.
The urethra, which removes urine from the body, and erectile tissue are both located in the shaft.
The penis is used for urinating and sexual activity. when a person becomes aroused, resulting in an
erection. The rigidity of the erection makes it possible to penetrate a partner and engage in sex. A
person can then ejaculate after engaging in sexual activity or manual stimulation. The penis might go
back to being flaccid following ejaculation or a lack of excitement. Additionally, the penis is crucial
for urine function. Urine can be passed from the bladder to the urethral opening through the
urethra, which is in the penis.
