Flow of the Lesson: Students will come to know about the history of clothing
material, from weaved leaves to stitched clothes. They will understand the
difference between fibre, yarn and fabric. Students will get to know the different
types of fibres including natural and man-made fibres. Then they will know about
the processes in details, on how cotton and jute are extracted and are used to make
fibres.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
 Students will be able to know about the history and advancement of clothing
material.
 Students will understand the types and their origin of different fibres.
 Students will understand the process of obtaining cotton and jute fibres.
