Wide range of use Different terminal feeding

With Schäfer crimping applicators, precise crimp
connections can be made on small and large wire
cross-sections. Used in crimping machines as well
as in semi or fully automatic systems, terminals of
the most varied geometries can be processed.
The crimping applicators are equipped with a
quick-change device and requires only a few steps
to set up.
The applicators are equipped with a mechanical or
pneumatical transport to feed terminals crosswise
or lengthwise to the crimping process.
Special applicators enable the feeding of single
terminals in crimping position with sliding tables.

connections are achieved due to the robust design

REPRODUCIBLE CONNECTIONS

High setting accuracy

With the standard rotary head the crimp height in the wire and
insulation area can be set precisely in 0.02 mm steps.
Furthermore, the crimping result can be individually adjusted by
setting the transport table and feeding finger.

Customized solutions
In the development of specific variants, Schäfer can draw on extensive
experience and meet individual customer needs. A special design
is the four-point crimp applicator with symmetrical force effect for
connecting wires with round contacts.

Integrated cutting and bending

Special applicators with upstream processing modules prepare
the terminals. For example, these are cut out of the terminal strip
or individually formed via a bending module before crimping.
