ADMISSION NOTICE
BACKGROUND
Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of
Dhaka has relaunched the 3-month long executive training
program–Advanced Certificate for Management
Professionals (ACMP) 4.0 for management professionals
working in the IT/ITeS industry and IT/ITeS professionals
working in other non-government organizations.
This program, with support from Bangladesh Computer
Council (BCC), ICT Division, Ministry of Posts,
Telecommunication and Information Technology, through
the, Enhancing Digital Governance & Economy (EDGE)
project, aims at contributing to the vision of SMART
Bangladesh. In the past, IBA trained 800+ management
professionals of IT/ITeS industry under the LICT project in
three phases from 2017 to 2020. In line with the 2030
Agenda for Sustainable Development, 8th Five-year plan,
National ICT Policy, and SMART Bangladesh Vision 2041,
IBA has continuously been updating and upgrading the
program to enhance the professional capacity of IT/ITeS
personnel in the context of Industry 4.0.
At this stage, applications are invited for the new cohort of
participants and classes of the batch are expected to start
from January 2024.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• A bachelor’s degree in any field of education with a
minimum second class (or equivalent CGPA);
• Minimum two (2) years of executive-level working
experience in the IT/ITeS industry or as IT/ITeS
executive in other organization after graduation.
However, the organization must be a non-
government entity.
CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of the course, participants will be
awarded certificates issued by IBA, University of Dhaka.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
• 120 direct contact hours, spread over 3 months.
• Classes will be held in person during the weekends
(Fridays & Saturdays) and/or in the evening(s) of
weekday(s).
APPLICATION PROCESS
Eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications
through https://acmp.iba-du.edu. Organizations can send a
list of nominations to IBA electronically to acmp@iba-
du.edu. The last date of application for next intake is
Monday, December 04, 2023.
Only shortlisted applicants will be called for the assessment
test on a rolling basis.
RESOURCE PERSON
The classes will be conducted by distinguished faculty
members of IBA, University of Dhaka, and industry
leaders/experts.
COURSE FEE
The program is mostly subsidized by the Government of
Bangladesh. However, the participants or their
employers/sponsors will have to pay only BDT 10,000 (Ten
Thousand Taka) as registration fee.
