Sports: There are only some good sports

Millions of people around the world, both as spectators and participants, enjoy
sport on a regular basis. Some people believe there are only some good sports but
others disagree.
It is said that competitive sports, whether they are team games like rugby or
one-on-one games such as squash, are appealing because we all have the desire to win.
They force us to do our best, and allow the winner to celebrate a victory. It may well be
true that when watching a sport, it is more exciting when people compete.

Non-competitive sports can be highly enjoyable. Skateboarding is extremely

popular, and often people skateboard for fun rather than to beat another skateboarder.

It can also be mentioned that a lot of people do not like practising sports. They are
interested in other things like reading books or using computers.
To conclude when talking about sports there are different opinions, both good
and not so good sports are popular. I personally believe that we cannot say which type

is better. They both have positive aspects and it should be up to the individual
to choose the sport that is right for them.
