Unpacking the e-Print Pro Mainframe


G Remove four bolts securing the e-Print Pro mainframe
using a 13 mm wrench
G Verify that 4 screwjack mounts (M6x16 knobs) are in
highest position
G Lift e-Print Pro and stand on its four wheels
Installing the e-Print Pro
G Move e-Print Pro to fixed position
G Cut away all attached plastic strips, tags (tiewraps)
G Remove oil from Developer Station Wipers
G Remove masking tape
Positioning the e-Print Pro Mainframe
G Lower jack mounts unto pads
G Verify mainframe height is correct for PC cabinet and
about 10 mm above floor
Do not adjust e-Print Pro mainframe to a final level at
this point in the installation
Assembling the e-Print Pro

G Insert monitor in position and lock attachment screws


G Place keyboard and mouse on a Working Surface.
Connect cables to mainframe
Unpack, inspect, clean and insert the following:
G Squeegee Roller unit
G Reverse Roller Assembly
G Exit Tray Assembly
G Scorotron
G Cleaning Station
G Developer Drum
G Air Conditioner unit
G Clear area around machine

INSTALLATION REMARKS
Check & Adjust the level of e-Print Pro

G Verify level of mainframe at:


• Top surfaces of side frame where Writing Head is
aligned
• Across ruled bar above paper feeder
G Verify machine rests firmly on all jack mount pads
Attach PC Tower

G Position PC Tower and lock brackets


G Verify that all four PC Tower wheels are on the floor
G Connect following cables to PC Tower:
W18 to J2
W16 to J3
W143 to P20 at REC side
W48 to P21 at REC side
Install PC Computer

G Install the Computer to the PC Tower


G Connect the cables to the PC
G Lock the PC Tower door
Before Operating the e- Print Pro

G Verify Mains power supply is suitable for the country


G Verify receipt of correct Voltage Template
G Install Voltage Template inside Rear Electrical Cabinet
(REC)
G Set Auto Transformer (Voltage Selector) dial to correct
voltage
G Select correct Set Frequency of Inverter for country of
installation
Power Up Tests
G Verify that mains circuit breaker on e-Print Pro machine is
OFF
G Disconnect UPS bridge
G Connect machine’s mains cable to site’s power supply

G Verify that site’s circuit breaker is ON
WARNING: System is electrically alive. Take care not
touch any live parts inside electrical cabinet

Using a Digital Voltmeter (DVM) and electrical drawings:


G Verify voltages and phases on TB1 for:

G 21B-18B 380÷415 VAC ± 10%
G 21B-14B 380÷415 VAC ± 10%
G 18B-14B 380÷415 VAC ± 10%
IF THE ABOVE IS CORRECT
G Switch ON e-Print Pro machine’s main circuit
breaker
G Verify voltages to:
G RLA
G RLB
G RLC
G UPS
IF THE ABOVE IS CORRECT
G Switch OFF e-Print Pro machine’s main circuit breaker
G Connect UPS bridge and close cover
G Fill Separator with Imaging Oil
G Powerup e-Print Pro machine
G Insert the Technician key
Insert the Bypass Key as necessary

G Bypass Writing Head by entering Systab Editor:
