Stand up for Palestine

Poor Palestine, May Allah give you strength.
A people who are being oppressed,
Land which has been destroyed and stolen,
Everyone should stand for Palestine.
Stealing homes and bombing buildings is wrong
The Palestinians have the right to stand up for themselves
Israel has no right to and bomb and steal homes
No one should cheer for Israel
Everyone pray for Palestine with all your heart

I love Aqsa
It is BIG!

Lots of Prophets prayed there

Oil for lamps is like you’ve prayed there
Very special
Everybody should love this place

Adam (as) first built it

Qibla before the Ka’bah Palestine looked like paradise,
So beautiful Until Israel came and swapped their name,
Allah loves this place But still have no shame.
We gave you mercy,
Now you're unworthy.

You definitely could,
Yet we don't think you would.
You make a fuss,
Then blame them on us.
You've gone to hide,
Coz there on your side.
We resisted and resisted,
YOU think we never existed.
I think you'll find you're wrong,
We haven't gone.
We're hidden among the crowd,
We're all proud.
We have no shame,
Coz you're to blame
You come to the battlefield,
With a sharp sword and shield...
You only have pride,
Coz they're on your side

People of Palestine
People of Palestine
People of Palestine,
Angry but fearless,
Love for their country,
Every heart in pain,
Sad but not afraid,
Together they stand,
Impossible to stop them,
Never stop fighting for freedom,
Every dua we make helps them to be strong.

Palestine Shall be Free
They are mistreated, ignored and forgotten,
Palestine shall be free.
So let the world hear their voices,
Let their stories be told,
Taken out of their homes,
Angry and hurt,
Protecting Al-Aqsa,
Nothing can stop them,
Turning homes into rubble,
Look at them struggle,
Still keeping their Muslim etiquette,
Palestine shall be free.

Dua for Falisteen

Oh people of Falisteen, Ummah from the
blessed land, land of our noble Prophets.

I make Du’a for your victory. I make Du’a to

Almighty Allah for your people to stop
suffering.

I am so sorry for all the people in your family

who have died.

I make Du’a you will insh’Allah reunite in

Palestine
The oppression and malevolence crosses your eyes,
But in the news it is all a lie.
Is it you who does not care about the perpetual genocide,
The swarm of tears, screams and cries?
Why are you so oblivious to the terrors faced by Palestine,
The victims have no happiness, no future, no light,
No solution they have in sight?
So heed to this: a few things I shall say,
Be thankful to Allah that he has blessed you and I,
To give us shelter from the storms of the sky,
And with content, we can hold our heads high.
So make du’a with all your might,
That Inshallah the trauma and ill fate is diminished from
Palestine.

A sunny day your heart full of glee.

But not this day, the sky charcoal grey, as we flee.
Every house across the street, disformed,
Disfigured, what a sight to see.
Live your day like it’s your last they say,
Well for me, this may be.

Palestine be free!

Palestine, Palestine,
Palestine be free.

The land of Prophets where sweet orange trees grow,

And olive trees stand, tall and proud.

Palestine, Palestine,
Palestine be free.

Where the golden dome glistens as bright as the sun

And the beautiful masjid, Masjid al Aqsa,
remains for all who pray in peace.

Palestine, Palestine,
Palestine be free.

Long Live Palestine
People struggling to live
As the time passes by
Lives being crushed, as if they were a fly
Everyone is one ummah, we should all help one another
So it’s time we do something
Time to show some humanity
Injustice should be stopped
No one deserves to be tortured
Everyone is one ummah, so let’s take action

A Note to Palestine
Free, free Palestine
We're making du'a for you
People are getting confused
They say "The blame is on who?"

Israel kill many Palestinians day by day

With every breath we take,
Think about those innocent people
While you eat your honey glazed steak.

When the day has come to an end

And they sit on the steps of their broken homes,
Will they ever be fine?
Oh Allah Protect the Golden Dome
And everyone in Palestine

For Palestine
Palestine is annihilated,
It is complicated

There is war and war,

reaching very far,

To Gaza which is like a city prison,

Their homes are crumbling,
but they’ve conquered strength within,
Let’s help Gaza, also to be risen,
Don’t be sittin’.

People suffer and die,

because governments are choosing to lie,
for their pleasure,
for their high.

The ugliness f the stronger has caused

many terrible wars

Let’s help Palestine revive,

Let’s help Palestine thrive.
Be their voice, and their children’s sunshine.

Let’s finish the war,

This sinful wait of our,

Our Beloved Palestine
Our beloved Palestine
We can't let you go
When is the bloodshed going to stop?
We really don't know

Lots of innocent children are dying

Israel is to blame
But always lying

Young children hide in fear

I can't bear to endure
so I begin to tear

The poverty rate in Palestine is really high

The children want their mum and begin to cry
Many Palestinians die of starvation
This is all of Israel's occupation

Most don't have a place to stay

They need the world's aid without delay
Israel blocked Palestine from the world
Orphans hide in corners arms and feet curled

The Palestinians are in constant worry

Yet they must endure Israel's fury
We say we can't watch our sisters fall
Yet we do nothing to help at all

The world needs to come together

Or this war will go on forever

Israel wants Al Aqsa

So they criticise and accuse
That we certainly refuse
Our Beloved Palestine
The Palestinians want peace
Only with their release
Which Israel will not cease

Israel and Palestine

are like a cockfight,
The world says it can't watch
this horrific sight

Yet nobody wants to unite.

How can the U.S. support these crimes,
in these tough economic times?

So please stop the bloodshed

Because lots of innocent Palestinians
are dead.

I know there are a lot of people

out there that agree with me

Why Them and Not Me?
Why them and not me?
Palestine should be free!

The life I live doesn’t seem fair,

I want to speak up to show that I care,
Whilst I have a warm and safe home,
There are children In Palestine scared and alone,
Whilst my parents hug me and kiss me goodnight,
Their’s are overwhelmed with terror and fright,

My mum often asks me, what I want to be,

But they don’t know, if tomorrow they’ll see,
Because their’s is a land that’s been stolen for years,
Piece by piece despite all their tears,
Chaos, destruction and pain,
bullets and bombs again and again,

Why do I get to play wild and carefree?

Whilst they’re imprisoned with war, no end to see,
Whilst kids here ask for iPads and mobile phones,
All they want is to be warm and safe in their homes,
What makes me different to them?
All children should matter in the end.

My promise to the children of Palestine,

Is That I will speak the truth for all time,
As I grow up, their stories I’ll share,
And I hope they always know that some of us cared,
I make dua from the river to the sea that one day Palestine will be free.

Those Above See Everything
Birds cry out, for what they have seen,
Devastation from every angle- the innocent taking their last breath,
Buried under rubble, gasping, praying for an end to this war,
No- this genocide.

Israelis invade Gaza with weapons, an intent to destroy,

A hunger for power that the civilians of Palestine alone cannot satisfy.
Global support for Israel is pressing in on all sides,
Palestine is left alone to die, no one to care for them.

Except us, the unseen, the unheard,

Those who care- truly care.
We are among them, those who march in protest,
Who come together to support you and wave our flags high.

We will be heard.
We will be seen.
We will stand up for the voiceless, the defenceless.
We will not stay silent.

And through the pain, the sorrow, the mourning,

Drifts a feeling of joy, as we march as one.
Chanting, screaming for liberation and humanity,
For a better life for all Palestinians.

Even among the Israelis, there are those who stand with Palestine,
People who are against the wrongdoings of their country.
And we must allow them to stand with us,
For we are all one race- the human race.

And the birds, as they circle Gaza,

They have seen it all, though the Israelis may not have noticed.
And there is another who has seen their actions- Allah,
So the birds give one final cry and fly into the dawn of a new day- and
hopefully a new world.

In My Prayers
Today I walked passed a girl with debris in her hair
And in my prayer, I whispered, “Oh this is so unfair…”
Suddenly, we heard a BANG and we both jumped in despair
She cried out loudly to Allah, “Why does the world not care?”

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! Grant freedom to Palestine.

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! They have committed no crime.

I stopped to take a rest, and met a boy with a wounded arm

And in my prayer, I whispered, “This boy has done no harm….”
Suddenly, we heard a building crumble, causing an alarm
Oh how I wish, I could keep this young boy calm.

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! Grant freedom to Palestine.

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! They have committed no crime.

Later that day, I met a father, hugging his child tight

And in my prayer, I whispered “Oh Allah, please end this with your power
and might…”
Suddenly, the child screams out loud in a horrifying fright
The father consoles his child, saying, “Everything will be alright.”

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! Grant freedom to Palestine.

Oh Allaah! Oh Allaah! They have committed no crime.

A Sacred Land
It is a sacred land
And we should lend a helping hand
United we all will stand
All together hand in hand

Our brothers and sisters are fighting

So, listen to what I’m writing
Many people are dying
We cannot just be sitting

People are there but it’s hard to survive

But they’re still fighting and they still strive
No food, no water, no medicine, they’ve been deprived
But with faith in Allah, they still thrive

Bombs here and there

It truly is unfair
But do the enemies care?
All they want is to finish their affair

Our brother’s and sister’s sacrifices won’t be in vain

They will be rewarded for their pain
Now that I have explained
This is all that remains

Palestine will be free

Then the enemies will see

Subhanallah,
We cry in vain through all kinds of suffering.

Astaghfirullah,
We plead in disdain when we've done great sinning.

Alhamdulillah,
We praise with gratitude whatever the situation.

Allahu Akbar,
We shout simultaneously with all of creation.

Joined hands, Undivided hope.

Insha Allah,
Palestine will be free,
And Muslims will have Victory!

Colours of Oppression
In Gaza's shadowed alleys, where dreams dissolve like smoke,
I, a fractured soul, dwell amidst rubble and the choke
of oppression's cruel embrace, where sunsets bleed in red,
A tale of anguish etched upon the land where hope has bled.

Dehumanised, we stand, beneath a crescent moon's soft glow,

Witness to a world that turns away, unwilling to bestow
the empathy we crave, as bombs rain down like shards of hate,
A symphony of terror that seals our shared collective fate.

In shattered homes, where laughter once found its warm embrace,

Echoes of children's laughter linger, haunting every space,
Yet now the walls bear witness to a different, harrowing song,
Of lives extinguished, innocence lost, and all that once went wrong.

Oh, Palestine, your soil soaked in tears and endless pain,

A canvas painted with the hues of loss, a never-ending stain,
Where mothers weep for sons and daughters lost to senseless strife,
And fathers clench their fists, bereaved, yet clinging to this life.

Amidst the ruins, seeds of resistance find their way,

A testament to human strength, resilience, come what may,
For in the face of darkness, there's a flicker, burning bright,
A longing for a future where peace will finally alight.

Yet still, the world looks on, as if from behind a glass,

While here on Palestinian soil, we tread on shards of broken glass,
A plea for understanding lingers in the desert air,
A prayer that hearts may open wide, and truly start to care.

In every whispered prayer, in every tear-streaked face,

Lies a tale of courage, and an unyielding embrace,
Of life, of love, of dreams that reach beyond the endless night,
In the heart of Palestine, where humanity takes flight.

For our Brothers and
Sisters in Palestine

Poems written by adults in support of

Palestine from around the world.
Unshakeable Faith
Have you seen the people of Palestine?
How strong their imaan remains,

Despite their heart wrenching circumstances,

They remain standing strong, untouched,

And doesn't the hadith about a believers affair seem so fitting here,
When he is happy, he praises Allah and that is good for him,

And when he is touched by calamity or difficultly he remains patient and

that is good for him,

And look at what the people of Palestine face,

Yet they remain patient, their Imaan unshakeable, untouched,

How then do we remain so weak when our difficulties don't compare,

The people of Palestine are chosen for sure,

They are an example of a true believer for me and you,

May they remain strong, patient, unshakeable, untouched, and may we
learn from them. Ameen.

War crimes and genocide many choose to ignore,
the desperate cries from Palestine.

A people dear to Allah, tested again and again,

beaten and persecuted protecting Al-Aqsa.
“Where are the Arabs? Where are the Muslims?”
The cries of Gazans echo in our thoughts.
Are you still wondering what we need to do?
Rise up against the media lies!

Share the facts and educate yourself,

This isn’t what we stand for.
We stand for the truth they try to erase,
The ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
We are witnessing it again,
so Allah reminds us in the Quran of how the evil-doers plan.

But we know, Allah is Greater,

Allah is Greater than those who stand silent.

La Takhaf!
Painstakingly, with their souls in shock, their hands covered with
dust, they dig to find their loved ones.

Agonising are the cries, their hearts broken as the reality they
face is of loss.

Loss of everything this duniya brings, in such a horrific way, and

yet amongst the madness, there is a stillness- calm.

Ever praising their Lord. Knowing their reward is with the One who
created them. It is He who

Sustains them and gives them the strength to carry on. Knowing
they are in the land of those

True to Allah. All of the servants, tested by Allah, have come to

this sacred land.

Instilling a sense of hope from among all that is dead. ‘La Takhaf!’

No! They are alive and in a better place instead! May their test be
their Jannah

Each one a testament to this blessed land.

In my bed, I sit and wait,
For my mom to finish the dinner's date.
But my thoughts drift afar, it seems,
To a land where hope is trapped in dreams.

Palestine, in the grip of strife,

Endures the hardships of daily life.
No money, no home, no food to spare,
Their burden's weight, so hard to bear.

Comparing my wants, I feel the shame,

As their suffering puts mine to tame.
Yet, in the depths of their despair,
They find gratitude amidst the snare.

I question my place, my heart aches,

How can I help mend the breaks?
What actions can I undertake,
To soothe their wounds, some solace make?

With empathy, I start to see,

The power in small acts, maybe,
A helping hand, a voice that's loud,
To raise awareness, we are endowed.

For Palestine, I'll stand in stride,

Raise my voice, let compassion guide.
To lessen pain, and bring relief,
In unity, we'll find belief.

The Key
There’s a key in a tin on the top of the shelf,
I gaze upon it as they ask about her health.
A weathered old key for an ancient old door.
I know about this as I’ve seen it before.
Sittu once opened the tin, with tears to show.
She told me of her home, so I would know.
Of gardens and fruits, the fields of wheat,
Of their cold, bitter winters, and summers of heat.
Of her best, dearest friend who lived down the street,
The one she was never again to destined to meet.
Of the stream yonder, where they would dangle their feet,
Near the twisted olives and forests of dates hanging neat.

And how one day her father returned home full of worry,
And asked them to pack a bag in a hurry.
How they walked for miles with hundreds of others,
Not realising the extent of the ensuing troubles
Her father locked the door to their dear, ancient home,
“We’ll be back in a week or two, let it be known”.
“It’ll all blow over”, they agreed it made no sense.
As they walked down their garden path and past their fence,
He slipped the key into his old-fashioned waist tie,
“We’ll leave for now, we don’t want to die” was what he replied.
And that is the key in the tin on the shelf.
Waiting, still waiting, to return to it’s home and good health.

A Pen Weeping
It's not a writer writing
It's a pen weeping
With its tears (ink) uncontrollably flowing
On account of what it's witnessing.

Are the West...the Best?

Are the White always right?
Are they based on notions of equality and liberty?
Nay! They've attested to the world their hypocrisy
Acting against the laws of humanity.

They are the fuel for the humanitarian crisis

Aiding the cowardly Israelis
Killing, slaying, mutilating children in the cradle ,
Bombing and leaving them under the rubble
Destroying hospitals, demolishing infrastructure,
But this won't stop the brave Muslims from prostrating to their Creator.

For every era has a Salahuddin to protect Al-Aqsa,

Annual attacks during the Holy Nights
Isn't it time for them to fight for their rights?
Yet the media labels them as terrorists, invaders?

Giving a pat on the shoulders of the oppressors

O people! Ideologies promoted by the media have never been a solution
It has always been a core reason for mind-pollution
‫اللهم أعز اإلسالم‬
Read between the lines
Partial truth enveloped in lies ‫وأذل الشرك والمشركين‬
It's the same media that promotes atheism ‫ودمر أعداء الدين‬
It's the same media that promotes feminism ‫وانصر عبادك المسلمين‬
Yet you let yourselves be misguided? ‫اللهم اجعل بالد اإلسالم‬
It's not jargon that needs to be decoded ‫آمنة مطمئنة‬
It's an eye-opener, vivid, and recorded ‫يارب العالمين‬

O Muslims! Prayers have always been our weapon and armour

Cry to Allah for He is ‫ الناصر‬The Helper

Grieving Gaza
In history's pages, a tale unfolds,
Of Palestine's story, still untold.
From the late 1800s, Zionism's birth,
A dream of a homeland, giving birth to mirth.

But pain and struggle soon did arise,

As tensions grew beneath the skies.
In 1917, Balfour's Declaration declared,
A "national home" for Israel, it blared.

Years of turmoil, conflicts fierce,

Injustice growing, the pain was pierce.
Deir Yassin's massacre in '48,
A dark day that sealed a people's fate.

In the UN, decisions made,

Partition plans, but hopes did fade.
The Nakba, a catastrophe profound,
Palestinians' lives torn asunder, unbound.

Years rolled on, the struggle stayed,

Injustices continued, the world displayed.
Occupation's weight, a heavy load,
For Palestinians along their road.

In Gaza, a prison with open gates,

Where hardship abounds, as darkness awaits.
Families struggle, their spirits tested,
In this strip of land, where dreams arrested.

In the West Bank, a life constrained,

With barriers and walls, their hopes restrained.
Tales of checkpoints, daily toil,
A quest for freedom, a quest for soil.
Grieving Gaza
Jerusalem, a city divine,
A holy place for all, by design.
But access denied, for many a soul,
Longing to reach their sacred goal.

The Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall,

Hold the echoes of voices, they call.
Palestinians yearn to bow and pray,
In the heart of Jerusalem, one fateful day.

But global apathy, double standards abound,

As history's cries fall on deaf ground.
Promises unkept, as time marches on,
A world that watches, but somehow withdrawn.

Orwellian newspeak, ubiquitous now,

Distorting the truth, with a sinister vow.
Words that manipulate, conceal, and deceive,
In a world where clarity, they often thieve.

In this land of strife and endless yearning,

The pain of a people, always burning.
Yet in their hearts, resilience stands,
As they reach for peace, for hopeful sands.

A tale of struggles, both near and far,

A plea for justice, a distant star.
May the world unite, in the name of humanity,
Where their pain will cease and we'll all find
solace.

The Children of Palestine,
The Land of Lions
Sleep little ones sleep,
You are now going to gardens of Jannah,
Where there is no pain and no sorrow,
No threats of missiles and planes and an uncertain tomorrow.

You wanted to live and be something,

A doctor, a teacher, an engineer, a father, a mother, the list was long,
You wanted to be with your family,
Live a life free of threat was that so wrong?

Your dreams were cut short before they came to be,

We couldn't do anything for you, we are so sorry.
You woke up to sounds of bombs and sights of carnage,
Everywhere you went you saw lifeless bodies and unspeakable damage.

What did I do to deserve this? you thought to yourself,

Why is the world quiet as my brothers and sisters died in front of my eyes?
For being a Palestinian, is this the ultimate price?

A mother cradled her dead baby,

A father sat in shock as he gave up looking for his family.
I will be next, your small heart says as your mind went into blind panic,
A fate, your small mind couldn't comprehend, but your vast courage had accepted,
Because you had been brought up as a lion, with a spirit that couldn't be defeated.

You desperately needed a hug from your mother,

You wanted to play with your siblings and go out with your father,
Sadly, none of this could happen as your family was killed in a missile attack by
the enemy planes,
It was supposed to be Eid - a day of joy,
But your life was in tatters like your lifeless toy.
The Children of Palestine,
The Land of Lions
All your festivities had been the same,
Yet in the end, when my people defend themselves with sticks and stones
they are to blame,
Because you had been brought up as a lion,
With a spirit that couldn't be defeated.

You thought this is the life everyone knew,

You thought there were war planes everywhere,
You had grown up seeing this as your norm,
Whenever they wished, the militants into your house they would storm,

Safety and security did not exist,

In their quest to hurt the Palestinians they will persist.
You gave them your land when they were shunned by the world,
Shared your food and clothes when they were starving and bare,
Everything you had you chose to share,
This is what you got in return,
Displaced from your own homes as you watched everything around you
burn.

But tell the oppressors!

It will always be known as Palestine the land of the lions,
They will always be known as the snakes and the Zions,
Never citizens, but always settlers in the occupied lands,
They never belonged here nor was it in their hands,
Al Quds the land where only the brave are born,
The land where the angels and Prophets stood will be a witness every
stone.
It will be ours is God's promise true,
Will you stand with us, will you be of the few?
