APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LOGISTIC OFFICER

I am interested in Logistics Officer position at MAMEE Double-Decker (M) Sdn.Bhd. as advertised on

the JobStreet website. I am currently working as Logistics Coordinator at FedEx Express for almost 2
years. The main reason I am applying for this vacancy is to try my hand at a higher level position to
gain experience and knowledge in the field of logistics management. I

For your information I graduated from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) and hold a Bachelor’s degree
in Business Administration (Logistics and Transport) with Honours. During the final year, I had a 4
months internship at an import and export goods services company FedEx Express then I took the job
opportunities that were available as a logistics coordinator assistant at that company. As a logistics
coordinator I have been trained to coordinate the movement of goods and materials within the
organization that may include working with suppliers, scheduling transportation, tracking inventory,
and communicating with other departments within the organization. Moreover, to carry out the task,
of course I need to be good in using Microsoft Office as Microsoft Excel, Words, Access and else.
Through the experience I have gained as a Logistics Coordinator, I am sure that I can apply all of the
experiences to ensure that the tasks that need to be carried out as stated in the job description can
be implemented well.

In addition to my qualifications, I have good time management skills. In my previous role as a

Logistics Coordinator, I have demonstrated strong time management skills that allow me to
effectively multi-task and meet project deadlines. For example, I was responsible for coordinating
transportation, managing inventory, and delivering goods in a timely manner. By setting clear
priorities, breaking down tasks into manageable steps, and proactively adapting to changes in
logistics operations, I have always been able to complete projects within set timelines. Efficient time
management allowed us to successfully process time-sensitive shipments, reduce delays, and
maintain high customer satisfaction. I believe these skills will be invaluable to the efficient logistics
operations of MAMEE Double-Decker (M) Sdn.Bhd.
