Welding Works Accident due to  Welding Machine should be earthed with proper grounding rod. Task Supervisor, CPO,

 Maintain Good housekeeping.
 Select the proper welding or cutting TIP for the job.
 Check valves must be fitted between the handpiece (torch) and the hoses.
 Never drop or hit pressure regulators.
 Wear appropriate PPE(Welding Gloves, Apron, face Shield )
Additional Precaution Cad Fire Hazard  Hot work permit shall be obtained and must have valid date and signatures Site Engineer, Task

High  Area must be free from combustible materials. officer & Workers
 Adequate fire extinguishers & fire blanket shall be used where required.
 Adequate PPE must be used as per the hot work requirement.
 Cables, Equipment and Power tools must be in good condition and must be Site Engineer, Task
Electrocution 4 4 16 inspected having valid EPC sticker and colour coded by a competent electrician. Supervisor HSE
High  ELCB and earthling in DB shall be provided. officer & Workers
 Power tools are to be used for the purpose they were designed. Don’t
improvise and never use faulty tools.
 All tools must have an industrial type plug fitted and be the correct colour for
voltage
 Do not use power tools with wet hands.
 All electrical works shall be done by competent electrician.
 No tampering or unauthorized modification on electrical tools and systems.
 Repair will be done by competent electrician only.
Skin burns or Eye irritation. 3 3 Medium  Emergency Eye Wash Station shall be arranged near casting location. Task Supervisor ,
9  Disposal coverall must be worn by all personnel exposed to concrete. CPO, HSE officer &
 Eye protection is compulsory Workers
 Full sleeve rubber gloves along with steel toe gumboot must be worn by all
personnel exposed to concrete.
 Proper Housekeeping and proper material stacking throughout the workplace. Site Engineer, Task

Slip/Trip/Fall. 3 3 Medium  Vibrator hose must be properly coded and stored when not in use. Supervisor HSE

 All access/egress routes should be firm and level and free from any obstruction.
 Trip hazards need to be identified and proper signages must be posted.
 Access & Egress must be in safe condition with proper barrier and signages
(Pedestrian access, walk way etc)
 Do not store any materials on the walkways.
Emergency Situations High wind/ heavy  Suspend the activity during adverse weather condition like fog, high wind, Task Supervisor HSE
rain/storms Chemical poor visibility, heavy rain/storm etc. officer, First Aider,
Fire  Site emergency response procedure shall be followed. Workers & ERT

 SDS of all chemicals shall be available and communicated with employees.
 Awareness of chemical safety should be given to Operator.

 Training of fire fighting equipment and emergency procedure provided.
 Adequate and suitable Fire extinguishers must be provided.
 First aid room and first aider shall be on site.
 Site emergency number must be with all workforce.
 All personnel arriving on site will attend the site induction, highlighting site
rules and emergency Procedures before working on site.

person involved in this risk assessment that all reasonable attempts have been made
as a first priority to identify any potential to elminate all the significant hazards
listed, e.g., by preventing working at height or entering into a confined space.
