performed my all abilities related works like preparation of MIS reports, revenue reports, expenditure
reports, petty cash management, transportation management related activities, data base management for
employees attendance information and payroll department activates in this organisation. As an accountant
I need to handle all accounting related activities only but because of my personal interests I have involved
in all main activities and proved myself in these all areas, after 1 year my management skilled was
developed to next level and my higher official in my organization was encouraged me to proceed and they
have added some other vital responsibilities to me. While performing all this roles, I understood that these
all are playing a vital role to make any decision in the organisation to have smooth running. This
organization as established in rural area and at that that time there are no sources to escalate the process in
an order. I can say proudly I was build one platform to set all things in an order and now they were
following the same till now. I was appreciated by higher management level for this and I feel very happy
for this.

But I am not satisfied 100% with my job accounting environment and I always planning to switch to my
passion to management level and I would like to become into a key position in my professional career.
Later I moved to new organisation and started my work on my interested stream as an operations

2015 and I am responsible for the part of the workplace team that directly manages the operations and
maintenance of facilities and overseeing the entire process and I need to report to who are had direct
access to senior management. I know that well I need to have big picture vision while maintaining an
intimate knowledge of every department and my job role involved in their operational processes.
Managing daily operations is another key role for me. In my past experience I learned that in a small
business the role can become very hands-on and larger businesses typically require more focus on
managing a secondary tier of management staff. The goal here is to mitigate operational errors on a daily
basis to continue driving processes forward. Below are my regular activities in this organization.

A).Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy

B). Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
C). Determine key supply chain KPIs
D). Suggest solutions for process improvements
E). Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
E). Provide constructive feedback
G). Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
H). Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

I was done all above roles and responsibilities till June 10th 2019 in logistics and supply chain
management department. So that I was came to one crystal clear idea about the scope and functioning of
this department in organisation. And I decided to improve my skills on this specific stream to have bright
future through my international exposure at your esteemed university.
Why ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY?

After deciding to pursue my Masters at UK I started my research for University selection. The
course content of Master of Supply Chain Management and logistics being offered at the UK universities
and compared with them your university curricular matched with my area of interest. I chose to study at
your university because the course offered is accredited UK society and the course structure and fees met
my personal requirements and career goals. Moreover the fee is affordable for your esteemed university
i.e. £13,000 per annum.

Anglia Ruskin University has its origins in the Cambridge School of Art, founded by William John
Beamont in 1858. The inaugural address was given by John Ruskin (often incorrectly described as the
founder; in fact he founded the Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford). The original location was near
Sidney Sussex College, later moving to its present location in East Road, Cambridge. The governing body
in the 1920s included two remarkable pioneers in the civic history of Cambridge, Clara Dorothea
Rackham and Lilian Mellish Clarke after whom buildings on the East Road campus were later named. In
1960 this became the Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology (CCAT) In 1989 CCAT merged
with the Essex Institute of Higher Education to form the Anglia Higher Education College. The merged
college became a polytechnic in 1991, using the name Anglia Polytechnic, and then was awarded
university status in 1992.

Your prestigious university offers a range of courses and training options to suit a variety of different
career goals. Many of this university’s courses incorporate project-based learning meaning one will
undertake real-life management tasks. Through this innovative approach to learning, we can combine the
knowledge acquired during the study with teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills that are
required for today's workforce this university management courses have been developed in consultation
with key stakeholders in the sector. In order to meet the demands of industry, Anglia Ruskin University
have formed strong partnerships with leading private companies and public organizations that offer
support through scholarships and work-integrated learning.

Why Master of Supply Chain Management And Logistics?

The main reason I chose Supply Chain Management and Logistics as my master degree is I have done my
under-graduation in Bachelor’s of Commerce in Computer Applications and did MBA and have some
work knowledge on related subjects, which will help me in solving any kind of problems faced by me in
any future projects which I will be handling. Also I have handled some key operations in my past
experience like Responsible to work as an Individuals working as an Operations Executive need to
communicate with the higher management to prepare a strategy for operations to run efficiently, Keeps a
check on the performance of the operations of both internal service providers and external service
providers, and one of the most important tasks is to provide them with a work environment which is
favourable for high work productivity. These all responsibilities will support me to complete my
Master’s.

However in India I‘ve limited source to gain more knowledge in my area of interest. We have a great
demand for International Degree holder who had an international exposure and who are specialised in this
Supply Chain Management. So that master’s degree in supply chain management will help me to gain the
skills which I am lacking where I am planning to forward into competitive business world in future.
Master of Supply Chain Management and Logistics at Anglia Ruskin University is a 2 years full-
time degree which is included industrial placement option throughout this program. While undertaking
the qualification the students will be well prepared to contribute to future growth and change in the
projects that students are involved in whilst at the same time enhancing their individual career
advancement opportunities. This program was designed with industrial placement option which is very
supportive for international student to get practical knowledge on their subjects and we can show case our
profile with an international master’s degree. This will give a great support in Indian and worldwide when
I’ll start my professional career after my master’s degree. In today’s interconnected and increasingly
competitive global economy, companies must have cutting-edge supply chain management in order to
stay abreast of changes in global production capacity and adjust accordingly. Studying at Your
University, I expect to learn more about all of the links in a supply chain and how to make strategic
changes as needed to ensure continued competitiveness. Through the extensive academic resources in
your program, including not only the classes and lectures but also the industry links and practical
experiences, I expect to emerge with a highly practical understanding of how to manage a complex supply
chain in the contemporary dynamic business world.

My university studies and work experience give me a broad understanding of the business world, and it is
because of this perspective that I have decided to focus on supply chain management for my future career.
Because supply chain management is an inherently international field, I know that I could benefit greatly
by undertaking further studies overseas, which is why I am applying to your university.

Benefits of Internship & Post Study Work Permit:

By doing Internship during my masters program will add UK experience to my profile. The post study
work permit allows Indian students to work in UK. I would like to come back to India after my Master’s.
If at all I wanted to work after my Masters I can this post study work permit to get some International
exposure in corporate world with the help of this exposure and experience I will be able to:

 Gaining valuable International work experience

 Exploring a career path
 Giving an edge in the job market, develop client relationship

 We can create an International network
 We can have a trial run in career filed
 Expand my skills and knowledge
 To get real time experience on live projects
 Adaptability to International Corporate world
 We can access to unique expertise and refinement of our skills, receiving financial compensation
and gain confidence etc.

Why UK?

 The UK institutions consistently rank among the best in the world and qualifications are
internationally valued and recognised.
 The UK undertakes 5 per cent of the world’s scientific research and produces 14 per cent of the
world’s most frequently cited papers.

our choice.

skills sets and confidence.

benefit from their constant academic support.
 UK degrees can be tailored to our interests and often include specialised modules.
 The UK is the home of English hence an ideal place to develop language skills and enhance
employment prospects.

Why Not in India:

The first and foremost reason of studying abroad is the ever increasing competition in the education
sector in India. The number of students competing for limited seats is extremely high. When I planned to
pursue my master’s degree, there were many opportunities in India.

The second reason is that the some teaching techniques were outdated in India. They were not updated
with the current technologies at the market. The internships in India were also considered as a drawback.
It lacks the real-time learning experience.

The third reason that is Cast Reservation policies are further deteriorating the education system in India.
Students are ready to compete, but when a seat is given to a student just on the basis of reservation then it
hurts.

An international Degree is also a gateway to employability prospects abroad. Indian students who wish to
return home and seek job opportunities will have them in bounty. Companies consider international
exposure an important factor when making decisions about which applicant to hire. Considering all these
above factors I decided to study in Abroad.

WHY NOT OTHER COUNTRIES?

Before choosing UK for doing masters, I have also done my research on other countries like, Australia,
Canada, UK and New Zealand and I considered factors like Location, Cost of living, Program and courses
and value of the program after coming back to India. In USA the present legal and Immigration issues are
not that great so my parents don’t want me to choose USA again. When I researched on Canada I
understood that Canada has very few Universities which offers Masters programs and the colleges offer
post graduate diplomas. I felt that getting in to Masters is difficult and post graduate diploma does not
have the same value as much as Masters when I come back to India. Comes into New Zealand– In fact,
this destination the tuition fee for Masters is more than any other country and admissions take longer time
than usual and present very few options in most of the fields and hence I have not chosen to study in this
destination. Finally, I felt UK as the best option for my higher Education.

Career Options In India:-

We can move in to a wide range of logistics and supply chain job roles in Indian industries. And most of
the prestigious companies are posting huge number of job openings in their organizations they are
AMAZON, Orgin Consultants Pvt Ltd, Alchemy Techsol India Private Limited, CRPL – India, KPMG
India, Cargill India Pvt. Ltd, Michael Page-India, Randstad- India, Deccan Fine Chemicals (India) Private
Limited, Bosch Group, Genpact, IBM, ZTE Corporation, Reliance, Mahendra Group, TATA Group etc…
and comes into package range is Rs.12-15 L per year (Approximately £13,000 – 15,000) we will get for
senior level positions in Supply Chain Management field.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to express myself.
