Community Profile

The specified community is located in a landlocked plateau in a rural land of Barangay


Ilumavis, Kidapawan City. Ilomavis is a barangay in the city of Kidapawan, province of North
Cotabato. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 4,487. This represented 2.79%
of the total population of Kidapawan. Ilomavis is situated at approximately 7.0367, 125.1929, in
the island of Mindanao. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 756.5 meters or 2,481.9
feet above mean sea level.

The total number of households in the community consists of 94 families but only 39 families
where interviewed with the sources of income as follows, ten families for farming, fourteen
families for Laundromat, one family for vendor, six families for labourer, one family for cafgo,
one family for secretary, one family for driver, one family for foreman, one family for computer
IT, one family for government job, one family for construction and one family for house keeper.

The community relies on one power source in Kidapawan City which is the Cotabato Electric
Cooperative: Cotelco Inc.together with the available communication service towers provided by
Globe and Smart.

The transportation services that are available and utilized in the community are tricycle,
skylab and private vehicles since it is the most accessible to the community, and majority of the
member of the community commute tricycle but some of them owns private vehicles.

The water district provides the water used in the neighborhood. The water district makes an
unmatched effort to consistently offer high-quality water to its concessionaires, and by
enhancing the systems that improve customer service, it is able to do so.
Finally, because officials visit our neighborhood once a month to do environmental
inspections and handle rubbish disposal in vacant lots, peace and order are well maintained
here. Additionally, drainage systems and canals doesn’t have covers that might cause accident
it is define as hazard. In addition, the barangay officials always encourage us to report any
disputes in the area to the barangay.
