ANTONIO DEL VALLE PEROCHENA

GRUPO EMPRESARIAL KALUZ, S.A.

Antonio del Valle Perochena has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Grupo
Empresarial Kaluz, S.A., a holding company of Orbia and Elementia, S.A.B., since
September 2013. He also chairs the board of Ve por Más Financial Group, S.A. de
C.V. (BX+).
Antonio del Valle has over 25 years of experience in the financial and business sectors,
commencing his career with Grupo Financiero Bital, S.A. During his tenure from 1992
to 1999, he held various significant positions within the group, notably serving as the
General Manager of the subsidiary divisions of Insurance and Pensions, Bonds, the
Broker-Dealer, and Leasing. Subsequently, he joined the Grupo ING as the Executive
Vice-President of Insurance and Pensions in Mexico. He also assumed the role of
Director of New Projects for the group’s direct banking entity, ING Direct, based in
Madrid, Spain. In 2003, Antonio, alongside his family, founded Kaluz and Bx+, where
he continues to be actively involved.
Antonio, born in Mexico City, holds a degree in Business Administration and has
obtained a Master’s degree in Management from Anahuac University. He furthered his
education with a postgraduate degree in Senior Management from IPADE and pursued
literature studies at the Iberoamericana University.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Banco Ve por Más, S.A., Elementia,
S.A.B. de C.V., Controladora GEK, S.A.P.I. de C.V. and Afianzadora Sofimex, S.A.,
Orbia and Byline Bank.
Over the past four years, Antonio del Valle has chaired the Consejo Mexicano de
Negocios (Mexican Business Council), a business organization comprising 60 of the
most important companies in Mexico.
He has also actively participated in various foundations and civil associations, such as:
Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición “Salvador Zubirán”, the Probosque
de Chapultepec Trust, Colmex Foundation Trust, Instituto Mexicano para la
Competitividad, A.C., and CORE Foro Urbano.
