INTRODUCTION:

Hello, everyone.. I'm Erica Lagera from 11–Humss 3, and I will be your speaker to talk about
stress management. Let's begin. Who else here does not hear the word stress or mean? We all
know what stress is, right? So I am here to share my personal experience and how to deal with
it in my daily life.

Do you believe that stress has no age limit and everyone can experience it, no matter how
different we feel? You are stressed out about school, your love life, money, yourself, the people
around you, and also about thinking about your future someday. Sometimes we feel pressure in
one thing or more than another, or something else, right?

Fun fact: even the baby gets stressed. Do you know that? but not that stress experience of the
adult and teenager, like when babies don't get their toys or what they want, they get stressed
and cry. and even the games we experience stress over, they say that games are stress
relievers. Do you believe that? but no.... When we lose a game, we get stressed. especially
when it's a rank game or you have a dumbbell playmate. Sometimes we can say hurtful words
because of our annoyance or feelings that we can't control. Sometimes we think, "I hope we
didn't play." I should have slept instead of playing games. In that situation we felt the stress
which we do not feel that we are already stressed.

So if you think that you are always stressed because of your problem or what is happening to
you, Just remember that you are not the only one who experiences that. that you feel like you
don't know what to do or a solution to what is happening in your life. You're not the only one.

Me? I’m also stressed... I’m stressed about everything. It’s obvious, isn’t it? kidding. So yeah, I
experience stress too. Recently, I got stressed because of the activities this week. My brain
doesn't cooperate with me. I know I’m not the only one who experiences this. that your brain
can’t cooperate with you.

Like how many hours you sit in the chair facing your laptop or module but nothing really enters
your brain? When I’m doing this activity, I feel stress because a few days and hours have
passed and I still haven't done or started anything because I don't have any ideas to start and
my brain isn't cooperating and thinking that how can I deliver it to you? What if I can’t? like that
It's hard, right?

So I got stressed that time. even now.. I’m pressure. by standing in front of you. That's not the
only stress I feel; there's a lot more, acads? when your teacher gives a lot of activities,
especially if a deadline is given at the same time. and the tasks are difficult to answer, or if there
are groupings that need to be done but your groupmates did not participate, like they ignored
your chat or passed the part late. Those are stressful. I know all of you can relate to this
because we are both students.
but just not to acads I’m stressing like what i said, is Everthing …..To my self.. My personal
problem.. that sometimes i feel breakdowns, whether physical or mental, will affect our mental
health. because of the stress. Some people have depression because they can’t handle what is
happening around them or the stress that they experience. Sometimes we also experience
being insecure and questioning ourselves, "Why?" I am insecure too. have toxic traits (fear,
etc.) because, as humans, we can feel and experience anything. even if our gender is different.
The same goes for stress; everyone can experience it.

So I have a question. How can we manage stress? or solution to prevent stress... So this is my
main point. Why am I standing here in front of you? How can we manage the stress? So if you
are stressed in academia, what will you do? What are you doing?

So if you know there are a lot of activities to do, just do them right away. Don't waste time; learn
how to manage your time. so that when the deadline is close, you will not rush or stress
because you haven't done anything yet. Like me, that's what I do; if I know I can do something,
I’ll do it. So I don't get stressed when the deadline is close, but when I really can't, my brain
doesn't cooperate that time, or I have no motivation to do the task, I do. Just rest.

Let's give ourselves a break if we know we can't do it anymore. Just rest, and after that, keep
going again. Give time to yourself, spend time on your hobbies, do the things that make you
happy, like you feel at home, and don’t think of things that make you stressed just the moment
when you rest.

And always think positive because all of the problems there’s have a solution. you just have to
think about what it is the solution. and you are the only one can understand youself and your
problem. so love yourself and be yourself. just when you're tired just rest and continue doing
your life again. if it’s you feel better. don't give up because you and I, we are all experience
different things. so don't .

Be strong.. Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember everything
you faced. all the battles you have won and all the fears you have overcome. So be strong and
be yourself, and thank you for listening.
