How do you relieve stress?


What stresses you out?
Do you have a stressful lifestyle?
How can you eliminate stressful situations?
How do you get control of a stressful situation that is getting too tough?

Today I am GOING to talk about what stresses me out, how I deal with stress and stressful situations and
how I try to avoid them. There is not a single human, except new born, who has not experienced stress and
been in a stressful situation. They deal with this unpleasant feeling in various ways and some can
even shock others. For example, some people take deep breaths and it works perfectly for them, however
it does not work for me. My stress relieving method is tearing the skin of my finger tips, biting my nails,
cracking bones of my fingers or just taping rapidly on some surface. Of course it hurts a little and people
might view me as some insane guy, but it helps and I am fine with it. What can lead me to doing these
harmful things? Well talking in front of class or other large group of people can stress me out, although I got
better at/with public speaking in these 6 years. I would be lying if I said that I am not feeling nervous or I am
not slightly stressed out when the classroom is so quiet. Also encountering difficult exercises during a test
can stress me out but I do not have time to tear my skin and deal with bleeding so I just start spinning or
even biting my pen. My lifestyle, excluding school, is not stressful at all. I like playing video games and
working out so besides interacting with strangers I have a peaceful life. Obviously, I do not like being
stressed out so I try to avoid stressful situations. For instance, during lessons I try to act like I am busy with
exercises so the teacher does not ask me to speak and my heart can rest assured. Also if I see that things
can get troublesome I try to deal with them before they have impact on my mental health. Normally,
stressful situations do not get out of hand, but if they somehow do get too tough, then I would try to calm
down, be patient with solving the problem and break a finger or two. In conclusion I can say that stress is
one of the feelings I hate and want to avoid at all costs because it can leave me insane and with infected
broken fingers.
