Knowing one’s
self in stress

1. How do you know that you are stressed?
 Based on my experience, I will know that I am stressed if I feel like there was
a weight on me that I cannot express and my head starts to feel pain. I also
felt that I cannot do anything any further. I usually becomes stress from the
things that I want in that way or will be executed but it was not been followed
like want to finish my activities and suddenly I got it wrong. I also becomes
stressed from simple things, and I can also handle big things. The thing that I
know that I am stress is a big points in knowing myself so that I can solve the
problem or possibly avoid the problem.

2. How much stress do you think you are currently under?


 The stress that I am currently under was slightly heavy since I have to do my
assignments, projects, and activities, etc. Also, I do some household chores
every day and sometimes it can waste my time instead of completing my
school works. The stress I am currently was still manageable and I can falter
sometimes but still I am comforted by my parents and my partner. This stress
may be small but it can affect me sometimes since I am not expose to
problems and sometimes I cry over it but I also improved my self to avoid
these things.

3. How are your stress signals different for different types of stressor?
 We react different to different things, so as our stress to different kinds of
stressors. I am slightly stress when my partner do something wrong or does
not listen to my instructions. The things that will make me super stress was a
project that requires skills that I am not good at, no food, and lastly, noise
when I am studying for the examinations. These stressors have impact on my
studies and sometimes it can greatly affect me that I no longer comprehend
my learning ability or I will lose interest in studying sometimes.

4. What are some ways that you usually remove or reduce the stress that cause you
physical, emotional, or behavioral difficulties?
 There are things that I do to reduce my stress like to sleep with it, or do things
that will make me busy so that I could forget my stress eventually. Some
issues that cause me the stress are sometimes cannot be treated with sleep
or work so I usually open it up to my father and partner. These things that I
will do have benefit in my study since it can help me focus to my studies, I will
strived to be an honor student so that my parents will be proud of me and
even the ALS community since I graduate in ALS school: an informal school
but have formal education.
BIBLE
-If I found myself in a situation that needs to survive, I will carry my
bible since it makes me feel that I am protected by God. The times
that I will feel frightened, I would read it so that I would gain courage
to face the unknown and uncertain future awaits for me. The bible
will teach me what is the meaning of life, and to follow the path of
Jesus. In survival, the prayer matters since it can protect in a blink
of an eye, also it can give me strength to live my life in happiness in
such situation.

Bubble wrap
-this packaging souvenir was the most satisfying of all you can get
aside from the product itself. I could bring this in my survival times
since it has the satisfying effect that will make me focus and forget
about how serious is my situation. The bubble wrap may be all
popped, but it can give me memories that cannot be forgotten. This
thing may not last forever but I can bring these in my life time and
remind me that no matter how dangerous the situation is, wear your
smile always. This is my second thing that I will bring in my survival
times.

Music
-I will never forget how music shaped our lives. Music has the
capacity to direct people into its rhythm so that the problems that I
am currently experiencing can be forgotten or at least, lessen its
effect to my life. I love music and I fond to sing, this symbol may be
a little thing to others but this is the great symbol that will hold my
spirits high and will have the courage to survive no matter how hard
the situation is. This is my third and first symbol that I will have in
my journey of survival.
