Work Experiences.

1. August 2018 - Present: Field Monitoring Assistant - WFP South Sudan Country Office

• Verify the planned movements and distribution of food or non-food items and cash, PDM, and reporting issues or discrepancies to
the supervisor for timely resolution of problems and to ensure that the quantity distributed, and the quality of the operation is in line
with WFP standards.
• Maintain information records and monitoring and evaluation plan documentation, such as records of commodity movements and
program checklists, to assist in the effective delivery of cash and food or non-food items distribution.
• Collate assistance program (s) data in accordance with clear direction, to support program reviews and informative decision-
making.
• Liaise with cooperating partners and internal counterparts to gather feedback and comments to support program reviews and
improve the SCOPE web-based platform system and CBT technologies on cash distribution.
• Receive and collate comments and feedback from cooperating partners, beneficiaries, and beneficiaries to support identifying
programmatic issues to foster efficient operations.
• Provide guidance for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools, and methods to support complete self-
monitoring tasks and contribute to the visibility of WFP in the coverage areas.
• Prepare field mission reports documenting program implementation. and follow set emergency response processes and procedures
for emergency food assistance.
• Manage adjudication and duplication cases found in the SCOPE production and monitoring system to enhance quality data, perform
decisions on duplicated biometric identities on the WFP SCOPE platform in line with the developed SOP, and keep Proper
documentation of the data that have been actioned upon including records that have been deleted or edited and referred for case
management.
• Perform case management by Identifying duplicated Identities in the SCOPE system using De-duplication SOPs to directly engage
and verify duplicated beneficiaries on the ground during case management exercise by ensuring one genuine record is maintained
in the system for enrolment and interventions activation and other records are deactivated/deleted. This ensures that the SCOPE
system maintains the right data and responds to the right beneficiaries.
• Adjudication: Assist the deduplication engine when it cannot make an absolute decision on whether an Identity has a duplicate.
Perform comparisons between photos and fingerprints and mark identities as Unique, duplicate, or Undecided.

2. Nov 2016 – August 2017: State Project Manager - Global Group Development [African Gum Project (Gum Arabic], Torit.
• Responsible for Gum Arabic Project operation in EES state, managing human and financial resources including office assets.

▪ Liaised with Local authorities for awareness and sensitization of gum Arabic project operation in EES state.
▪ Developed company policy and administrative working guidelines for recruiting community coordinators, selecting group leaders,
tapping rules, collecting techniques, transportation, and selling procedures.
▪ Trained community coordinators, group leaders, and individuals on Gum Arabic project activities from across seven counties in the
EES state on how to tap, collect, and sell to the company.
▪ Regularly reported to the business development director and the state government on the project progress status.

3. Apr 2006 – August 2018: South Sudan National Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Investment, Juba.
a) 10 years as Deputy Director for Industrial Promotion & Development.
• Involved in annual budgeting preparation and management team assignments within the ministry and conducted
regular budget reviews to reconcile expenditures with the budget line of the unit for next actions.
• Conducted pre-feasibility studies of defunct industrial and new proposed projects.
• Participated in contract negotiations, evaluation, monitoring implementation phases, and reporting.
• Provided advice on viable industrial projects to investors seeking to invest in South Sudan and regulated issuance
of licenses for viable project investments.
• Carried coordination and inspection of established operating factories to ensure quality assurance within Juba.

b) 2 years as Project Coordinator under the Directorate of Industry,


• Led the project team with planning, coordination, and formulation of the project contract for hiring a foreign
consultancy firm to a carryout feasibility study on the defunct Yirol Oil mild factory in Lake State.
• Budgeted and mobilized logistics for implementation phases and developed monitoring and evaluation mechanisms
to ensure the smooth running of the project with regular review meetings with team members and stakeholders for
updates to adjust planned activities where necessary.
• Ensured the use of guided regulations and standard operating procedures for implementing project management
programs by controlling the use of budget through its budget lines considerably channeled to all units.
• Monitored and evaluated the daily performance progress of project field researchers and together swiftly resolved
the arising problems for the smooth running of the project’s planned activities.
• Networked and coordinated interdepartmental activities to ensure proper utilization of operational resources with
feedback responses provided for proper planning on upcoming activities.

Supervised field inspections of imported and exported goods, quality assurance, and certification, calibration of weights and measures
in conformity with working standards, undertaking laboratory tests of goods imported and exported to ensure their qualities, reported
abnormalities, and suggested solutions.

5. Nov 2004- Sept 2005: Industrial Engineer - Global Confectioneries Factory, Khartoum.
Managing computerized product processing, monitoring products or machine defections, and calibrating adjustable machines to ensure
quality products yielding 160 packets per shift.

6. Mar 2003 – May 2004: Production & Quality Control Supervisor at Crystal Industrial Co. for Food Stuff & Beverages, Khartoum.
Monitoring staff and Production efficiency supervision to attain the daily target of 1,150 crates, regularly checking procedures and bench
tests for product quality, ensuring use of all specifications and standards conform with ISO manual guidelines, reporting abnormalities,
and being advised on further immediate actions.

7. Feb 2002 – Mar 2003: Water Technician - Swedish Free Mission, Juba.
Carry assessed residential areas needing water supply in Juba town and nearby villages to install and plump the networked water pipe
point within piloted residential areas in Juba. Pumped water from the river into the storage tanks for chlorination & made them ready for

distribution and maintained broken water tapes during their usage by end-users, cleaned water reservoir stations and chlorination.
Removed residues and precipitates crystallized and blocked the passage of water through the pipes. Conducted public awareness on
the importance of the use of either dug clean water or treated water from the Nile.
