year! My name is Mr. Evan Stahlke, and this is my first year in the classroom. This means there will be plenty of opportunities of learning and growth for myself and learners in this classroom. I have had numerous experiences with different age levels including Kindergarten, Middle School, and Middle level Education. Along with this, I have continuously worked with grades Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5-10) during a summer program through which I am employed. I worked towards my degree at South Dakota State University (CO-OP) with Dakota State University in the field of early childhood education. This background has set me up for success in this field and I look forward to a highly anticipated year!
I am originally from Watertown, SD and outside of the classroom I am very entertained
by sports. I participated in a variety of athletics growing up and still today I enjoy trying to be active. I also get caught up watching different events. Other hobbies of mine include playing music on my guitar or piano with many years of experience or enjoying time spent with family and friends. These are some of my dearest interests, and I can’t wait to get to know some of yours as well. Understandably, there will be some challenges that we face throughout the year. I want you to know that I am readily available if you have questions or concerns. Listed below are the best ways to contact me with any discussion points you would like to cover. It is my responsibility to keep you all engaged with your learners in the classroom. My best availability for you to reach out to me is throughout the week from 4:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. for the quickest response. Otherwise, my communication is available throughout the school week 8:00-4:00 as well. I look forward to a fantastic school year and a meaningful progression of relationships and learning.
