Annotated Bibliography Revision Memo

1. The feedback I found most useful when revising my bibliography were the suggestions

on how to add to my framing paragraphs to make them more complete. I found this

incredibly useful when drafting the literature review section of my research paper.

2. I edited my framing paragraphs, secondary source annotations, and primary source

annotations because all sections were lacking bits of information that were needed to

fulfill the assignment criteria.

3. I added additional content to my framing paragraphs to include the article by Carrol about

rhetorical analysis. I then edited my secondary sources to include information about

where I expected to use the sources in my research paper. I also provided more detailed

descriptions of specific ways multimodality was used in my primary sources.

4. There were no suggested revisions that I chose not to edit.

5. I feel that my bibliography now provides a clearer picture of how I plan to successfully

implement these sources into my final research paper.

6. I learned that terminology is important in academic writing. When writing quickly I tend

to describe things with the first words that come to mind. I need to learn to slow down

and ensure that I am using relevant terminology when able, as it strengthens my writing.
