WAIVER AND CERTIFICATION

I hereby signify my agreement and compliance to the guidelines of the Bicol Regional Development
Council (RDC) Newsletter Branding Contest, and that I am under no disability, restriction, or prohibition
to consent to the same. I certify that all information given here is true to the best of my knowledge and
abilities.

This is also to warrant that the entry submitted has not been, in any way, published, released, or
commercially exhibited anywhere in the Philippines or any part of the world; that it is the original work of
the participant; and does not infringe upon the personal or property rights of any person or entity.

All entries automatically become the official property of the Bicol RDC and shall have complete and sole
ownership of the entries to be utilized at its discretion.

In addition, in the event that my entry is selected as one of the winners, the undersigned agrees to the
following:

1. I grant the Bicol RDC the right to have my name and details of my entry listed in publicity
materials about the competition.
2. The Bicol RDC shall not be responsible for any legal claims involving copyright, trademark,
credits, royal infringement, or any violations related to the contest.
3. Should an infringement be proven, the prizes paid shall be returned. The Bicol RDC shall,
likewise, have the right to withdraw the prize, and award the prize to another entry.
4. The Bicol RDC, its Secretariat, and the members of the panel of judges, shall not be liable for
any claim by any third party in connection with the ownership of copyright to the entry
submitted by the undersigned.
