Letter of Acceptance and Scholarship Undertaking

Dear Trainee,

Congratulations! You have been selected as one of the scholars of the digitaljobsPH Training
Program (DJPH).

The DJPH is a blended activity of hands-on and internet-based training aiming to increase people’s
hireability through technical training which focuses on the development and improvement of ICT
skills and utilizes it for employment opportunities.

As a SCHOLAR, we would like to formalize the terms and conditions covering your scholarship
grant:

1. The DigitaljobsPH Training Program will cover the Training Fees.

2. The SCHOLAR shall observe all the rules and regulations of the DJPH of the Department of
Information and Communications Technology (DICT) where they are currently enrolled.
3. The SCHOLAR must be able to pass the course requirements of the training such as online seat
works, quizzes, practical tests, and creative projects among others.
4. The SCHOLAR must report and communicate to the DJPH trainer and Course Monitor for the
21-day online campaign.
5. The SCHOLAR must complete at least 90% attendance.
6. Scholars who withdraw from the scholarship, commit two absences, fail to report to the DJPH
trainer and Course Monitor during the 21-day online campaign, and delinquently perform the
daily tasks, without justifiable reason, must be banned from any DICT scholarship as a
penalty. The penalty must also be applied to the scholar who was withdrawn from the
scholarship based on his/her conduct/behavior that is detrimental to the interest of the
Training Service Provider or the DICT under the terms and purposes of this undertaking.
7. The academic performance of the SCHOLAR is subject to the review of the Training Service
Provider at the end of the training program, in accordance with the criteria set by the DICT.
8. The SCHOLARS who complete the course may be tapped as a resource person for related
activities of the DICT in the future in a one-time free-of-charge service of the scholars.
 9. The SCHOLARS must report every three months or on every occasion that the DICT Focal
person requests for progress reports they are receiving during and after the training. This is
for the purpose of timely monitoring of the post-training update of the scholars.
