ANSWER
1. Hospital is a medical facility that is typically larger than a clinic or doctor's
office and provides healthcare services for patients who require more
advanced treatments or procedures.

2. People need to visit hospitals for a variety of reasons, such as emergency


medical care, surgery, diagnostic tests, treatment for chronic conditions, and
management of acute illnesses.

3. There are generally three types of hospitals: public hospitals (funded by the
government and offer free or low-cost healthcare services), private hospitals
(owned and funded by private organizations and provide paid healthcare
services), and teaching hospitals (affiliated with universities or medical
schools where trainees learn while providing patient care).

4. Some common departments in hospitals include emergency department,


intensive care unit (ICU), cardiology department, oncology department,
obstetrics and gynecology department (OBGYN), pediatrics department,
radiology department, laboratory department, surgical department.

Nurse: Thank you, Mr. Ikhsan What brings you in today?

Patient: I've been experiencing some abdominal pain for the past few days.

Nurse: Okay, we'll need to fill out some forms before we can proceed with your
treatment. Please fill out this patient registration form and medical history form.

Patient: Alright.

Nurse: And while you're doing that, could you please provide me with your contact
information and insurance details? We'll need those for billing purposes.

Patient: Sure thing. Here's my phone number and email address, as well as my
insurance provider and policy number.

Nurse: Thank you very much, Mr. Ikhsan. Once you're done filling out the forms,
please let me know so that we can proceed with your examination.

Nurse: Good morning! Are you the new staff member who will be starting today?

Staff member: Yes, that's correct.

Nurse: Great! Welcome to our team. Before we get started with your training, I just

Staff member: Sure, no problem. Here's my emergency contact information and I


have no relevant medical conditions to report.
Nurse: Thank you very much. Once you're done filling out the forms, please bring
them back to me so that we can review them together and address any questions or
concerns you may have
