PLAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY NAHPI CLASSROOMS, FENCE AND TOILETS

AND FINAL PRACTICAL TRAINING OF NAHPI STUDENTS FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

A. PERSONNEL

Each participating student MUST put in at least 5 days (Tuesdays to Saturdays) of practical training at the
site; Will be rotational; This is practical training for which CA marks WILL be generated and used at the
appropriate time and WILL constitute a strong requirement for graduation; Each participating student will
receive the sum of 10,000 frs CFA for lunch, drinking water and transportation for 5 days.

All Civil Engineering students (years 2 to 6) and civil engineering teaching staff of NAHPI are involved
(compulsory practical training / supervision)

- All M.Eng and MSc Electrical Engineering students of NAHPI are involved (compulsory practical
training)
- All Year 4 (level 500), M.Eng and MSc Electrical Engineering students of NAHPI are involved
(compulsory practical training)
- Other selected NAHPI students may be involved
- All other NAHPI staff in field work clothes and shoes are involved as organisers (duty call)
- Specific members of UBa staff (especially of the DPPI Office) are involved (duty call)
- TOTAL of 675 students to be involved, wofking only during off-campus period. Thus, on-campus
lectures will not be affected.
- Each student will be involved only during 6 days in total. Voluntary involvement for more than 6
days is highly encouraged.

B. CALENDAR
1. Site preparation and purchase of materials: ongoing
2. Workshop with the engineering students and staff involved: Tuesday 5th Dec, starting at 10 am in
UBaDEF AMPHI, upstairs.
3. Period of effective work: Tuesday Dec 5th 2023 to Saturday January
