 Bruce Nolan - The main protagonist of the movie. An immature, self-involved and whinny
man. He is a man who has experienced different consequences because he keep on blaming
or complaining to the Almighty, like, what did he do to deserve all of what's happening to his
life.
 The Almighty (God) - The one who gave Bruce a lesson.
 Grace Connelly - The beautiful girlfriend of Bruce Nolan.
 Evan Baxter – Bruce’s former rival and former anchor.
 Susan Ortega - The co-worker of Bruce; has crush on Bruce.
 Sam – Bruce’s pet dog. Bruce's dog, who always starts peeing next to the same recliner but is
later successfully potty-trained by Bruce.

Give a summary of the plot?

In the movie "Bruce Almighty," Bruce Nolan (played by Jim Carrey) is a television reporter
who experiences misfortunes and suffering and then later accuses God of doing a bad job running
the universe. In a moment of anger, Bruce tries to challenge God, who later gives Bruce his powers to
see if he can do a better job. With his newfound abilities, Bruce starts embarking on a series of
misadventures, using his powers to manipulate reality, gain fame, and fulfill his personal desires, not
knowing that his relationship with Grace and the entire city of Buffalo, New York, will later suffer the
consequences of his own actions. However, he soon realizes that being God is not as easy as he
thought, and he must learn important lessons about humility, responsibility, and the true meaning of
happiness. Ultimately, Bruce discovers that it's not about having power but using it for the greater
good.

What is the possible theme or moral of the story?

The possible theme or moral of the movie is that we shall surrender to God’s will for God is
the one who is the one above all. We should follow the path that he made for us, to be able to guide
us for the greater good of not only our self but also everyone around us.

What is your analysis of the movie?

“Bruce Almighty” combines humor and thought-provoking moments, showcasing Jim

Carrey’s comedic talents while also addressing deeper philosophical questions about faith, purpose,
and the nature of God. Overall, the movie provides an entertaining and lighthearted exploration of
personal growth and the power of compassion.

Would you recommend the movie? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend the movie especially for people who loves and is fond of
comedy, and of course, those who likes Bruce Almighty’s actor (Jim Carrey) as a main character for
comedy movies that has powers like manipulation of reality like these. Additionally, having a very
important moral lesson in the resolution was a good experience in a comedy movie just such as this
one.
