Ways to Spend Fate Points


• Increase the number of dice in a single check (before making it) by one
• Reroll all dice in a single check
• Remove any one Bad Status you’re currently affected by

M+: Can be removed with a Major Action


M-: Can be removed with either a Major or Minor Action
MP: Automatically removed at the end of the character’s Main Process
T: Automatically removed when triggered
All Combat Statuses can be removed with an Instant Action

Life Statuses (LS) Bad Statuses (BS)


Fatigue: [Maximum HP] - [Fatigue Rating] Staggered (MP): Major and MP Action Checks -1D
Weakness: HP Damage + [Weakness Rating] Dazed (MP): Defensive Checks -1D
Incapacitated or Post-Action: Cannot act Cannot react to damage, Cannot Hinder
Dead: [Adventurer]s are revived at end of Rigor (M-): Cannot Move, Cannot Hinder
scene with 1 HP and [Max HP-1] Fatigue Confused (M+): All Checks -1D
+1 Hate at beginning of Main Process
Combat Statuses (CS) Decay: Take [Rating] Direct Damage
Regen: Recover [Rating] HP during Cleanup during Cleanup
Cancel: HP Damage - [Cancel Rating] Pursuit (T): Take [Rating] Direct Damage on
Barrier: Damage is taken to the Barrier failed Dodge Check
instead of to HP. If the Barrier’s Rating reaches Afflicted (M-): Cannot clear other Bad Statuses
0, the remaining Damage is taken to HP. Overconfident: Rolling 1 on any die causes
a Fumble (Auto-removed after taking damage)

Other Statuses (OS)


Hate Top: Will take Hate Damage upon failing a Dodge Check (except from Gimmicks)
Hate Under: +2 Bonus to Dodge Checks (except against Gimmicks)
Swimming: All Checks -1D, Cannot Hinder characters who are not also Swimming
Flying: Can ignore Terrain Props, Cannot be Hindered by characters who are not also Flying
Hidden or Concealed : Cannot be targeted by any other character
Absent From Scene: Cannot act or be targeted by any other character
