For this task, we are looking at population shifts. Specifically, we are looking at areas and
times when large population shifts occurred. Explain below about some of the key factors
that lead to a population shift and explain why population shifts occurred in this area/region.
Why is this important? What can other countries/regions/areas learn from this population
shift? Be sure to include some of our key vocabulary from our unit so far.

Now write a research question. What do you specifically want to know about this country
and their population shift? What can you research to find out more information? (B1)

Now write an action plan. Explain how to plan to research this question, what items you
want to look for, and how you use different tools to do the research. (B2)
