REVISED MINISTERIAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLUSTER PRIEST

A. TO THE CATHEDRAL

1) Attend the 1st Sunday Masses and other special masses

2) Attend special occasions
3) Respond to the assigned sacramental services and other services
4) Have once a day office in the cathedral as point person to back the dean and be
oriented /updated on cathedral activities
5) Report to the Dean all issues that require his attention and approval\

B. TO THE CLUSTER

1) Stay in the mother cluster chapel for members’ contact

2) Conduct masses in mother cluster and all covered chapels during 2nd mass schedule
3) Sees to it all chapels in the cluster have first served first before accepting assignment
for other chapels
4) Hold cluster meetings, bible studies and other activities not in conflict with the
cathedral schedules
5) Hold faith -deepening seminars for the cluster sectors not in conflict with the cathedral
schedules
6) Mobilize all members in the cluster during special cathedral events
7) Have an scheduled visitation of the sick and other members who need to be cared of in
every chapel

C. METHODOLOGY IN CHAPEL ORGANIZING

a. Create a messenger account for every chapel where every household is represented.
This account will serve as a means of information in the absence of actual meeting
b. Organize core group in the chapel so that pastoral visitation for the sick and others can
easily be facilitated
c. Create a messenger account for every chapel general council members so that meeting
and other campaigns can easily be facilitated.
d. Make a bulletin board in the mother cluster chapel for your whereabouts
