Article I: Name

The name of this body

shall be DIVINE MERCY
LECTORS
Article II: Purpose

1. The main purpose of the group are service.

a. To serve as an instrument for sharing the
mission of Jesus through proclaiming His
Gospel, building His community, celebrating His
liturgy, and serving His people.
b. To set an example of unity and cooperation as a
Christian Community to the Parish and the
Church.
Article III: Membership

1. Voting members of the Lectors shall

include:
a. President
b. Vice President
c. Secretary
d. Treasurer
e. P.I.O
2. All members of the lectors must be;
a. Age 13 years old up
b. Must be a Roman Catholic
c. Must be married in Church (for
couple)
Article IV: Meetings

1. Meeting shall be held at the Divine Mercy

Chapel.
2. Meetings shall be held the 3rd Sunday of the
month
3. The meetings may be called by the Spiritual
Director or the President.
4. 2 consecutive absences during meeting will not
be giving schedule for the next month (whole
month), with or without reason.
Article V: Offices

1. The officers can be elected for 2 terms.

2. The President shall:
a. Preside of all meetings
b. Communicate with the Parish Secretary
3. The Vice President
a. Perform the duties of the President in the absence
of the President, and shall succeed the President should that
office become vacant.
b. Directly assist the President.
4. The Secretary Shall:
a. Keep the minutes of all the meetings of the
council and make same available to all members.
b. Maintain an official list of all members of
the lectors
c. Keep attendance records for all members.
5. The P.I.O
a. Communicate to the members for schedule
of service.
6. The Treasurer shall:
a. Keep the finances of the group
b. Communicate the members about the
money status.
Article VI: Power Amend.

1. The members shall have the power to

Amend as needed.
2. Amendments should be agreed by 50%
+ 1, of the lectors ministry.
Article VII: Spirituality Day

1. Every Sunday at 2 the afternoon, we

must attend the Lectio Divina
2. Every 2 months should attend our
Recollections
Article VIII: Service

1. If there is conflict or emergency should

informed your co-lector assigned that
day.
2. The lector should wear the prescribed
uniform during Sunday.
Article IX: Finances

1. All working should have monthly

contribute 50 pesos per month, and for
non-working/students contribute 20 pesos.
