WALK-IN- INTERVIEW FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS I & II

Walk-in-Written test cum Interview to be held on 07.09.2023 and 08.09.2023 at 11.00 AM for the temporary
position under the various Externally funded Projects/Schemes at ICAR-CTRI, Rajahmundry. In respect of said
Projects/Scheme of ICAR-CTRI-KVK, Kandukur the Walk-in-interview will be held on 08.09.2023 and for ICAR-
CTRI Research Station, Hunsur, the Walk-in-interview will be held on 08.09.2023.

TITLE OF THE PROJECT

PROJECT No. (1) Evaluation of Nano Biotech Capsuls as Biofertilizer for
Northern Light Soils (NLS) and Karnataka Light Soils
(KLS) grown FCV tobacco.
1. No. of Positions Young Professional – I - 02 (TWO)
2. Essential Qualifications Bachelor Degree (Agriculture)/Diploma in Agriculture with one – two
years experience
Desirable 1.Knowledge in management of field crops
2.Soil and Plant sample analysis
3.Good knowledge of M.S. office package & Data base management
3. Remuneration Rs.25,000/- p.m. Fixed/ Consolidated.
4. Duration One Year initially, extendable on performance/need basis
5. Age limit 21 years minimum and 45 years maximum with relaxation as per rules

Evaluation of Sulfentrazone 39.6% SC and Sulfentrazone

PROJECT No. (2) 28% + Clomazone 30% WP herbicides for weed control in
tobacco under Northern Light Soils (NLS) and Karnataka
Light Soils (KLS) FCV tobacco growing region.

2. Essential Qualifications Masters Degree (Agricultural Science)
Desirable 1.Maters Degree in Agronomy
2.Knowledge in management of field crops, Biometric data collection,
Soil and Plant sample analysis
3.Good knowledge of M.S. office package & Data base management.
3. Remuneration Rs.35,000/- p.m. Fixed/ Consolidated.
4. Duration One Year. Engagement of YP will be extended for one more year based on the
requirement of services and satisfactory performance of the candidate after
evaluation.

promotion

2. Essential Qualifications M.Sc. (Ag.) in the Discipline of Plant Breeding/M.Sc. in Botany/Life
sciences
Desirable 1. Experience in collection of agro morphological characters.
2. Experience in data compilation and report writing.
3. Working knowledge/skills in handling computer.

2. Essential Qualifications B.Tech./B.E. / Graduate with specialization in Computer Science/
Information Technology.
Desirable Post graduate in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information
Technology. Experience in programming using open source software in
development of web applications with database connectivity, designing
websites, development of android mobile app, updating and hosting in
Google Play Store.

2 Essential Qualifications Graduates in Agriculture/Horticulture or M.Sc. in Botany /
Microbiology /Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life sciences)
Desirable Experience in Field and Laboratory work of Agricultural Research
experiments , Computer knowledge.

The candidates those wish to apply for more than one Project, shall submit separate

the envelop
3. The filled application along with copies of educational qualifications should be reach this office
on or before 31st August, 2023.
4. The eligible candidates will only be called for walk-in-interview. The intimation will be
sent to their e-mail.
5. The candidates should bring original certificates of educational qualification, one set of
photocopies of certificates and latest passport size photograph at the time of test/ interview.
6. No objection certificate from the employer, in case he/she is in employed elsewhere.
7. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate to attend the walk-in-test cum interview.
8. The above position is purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project. The
selected candidates will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular
post being vacant on a later date at this institute.
