Aron Ralston, a 27 years old mountain climber from Aspen,

Colorado, went on a hiking trip to the Bluejohn Canyon, but

a tragic accident happened! Aron, while going through a
narrow section of sandstone, managed to dislodge a 800
pound boulder, which fell in a pitch point and pinned his
hand and forearm. But the biggest problem was that he
didn’t tell anyone he went on a trip.

On May 1st, after 5 days being trapped, he set himself free

by cutting his arm with a dull knife, which was very painful
and difficult to do so, but it was the only solution.

This story got so popular that they even made a film about
it. The title of the film is “127 Hours”, which is a rough
estimation of the time he spent there. He is deemed as a
hero and a warrior.
