Q6) A flashlight battery has a rating of 0.8 ampere-hours (Ah) and a lifetime of 10
hours. Determine following:
a) How much current can it deliver?
b) How much power can it give if its terminal voltage is 6V?
Q7) A radio is powered (supplied) using 2 pieces of ‘AA’ batteries connected in series.
The voltage for each battery is 1.5 V and the rated power of the radio’s speakers is 3
Watts and can be represented as the circuit shown in Figure.
a) Calculate the current, I that flows to the radio when it is turned on.
b) Calculate the equivalent resistance, R of the radio’s speaker.
