Design:

1. As a group, design a car that can be built from the materials provided. You will need to
consider the principles of aerodynamics, propulsion, and pitch.

Materials Selection:

1. Choose a balloon from the available sizes.

2. Select the cars body, wheels and axles from the materials provided.

3. Grab scissors, tape, and any decorating supplies you want to use.

Design and Construction:

1. Inflate your balloon but don't tie it off just yet.

2. Secure the balloon on the rocket by tying it off or using tape. Make sure there are no leaks.

Race Preparation:

1. Find the starting point.

2. Release your car while holding the inflated balloon.

3. Release the balloon and observe how your car travels.

4. Measure the distance your car travels from the starting point using the measuring tape.
