ITC DSP Monitoring Tool Operation Manual

DSP provides the voice monitoring function, is to solve the two-way / one-way silent important
means, first of all say about the three procedures provided: DspToolServer.exe,
MBGsmTcSpec.exe and MBDspInsight.exe. The DSP monitor uses only the first two. This
function is relatively simple to use, the following step by step to guide you how to use.

1. Connect FE-C3 / 4 Ethernet port of the UIM module with the OMP module to the PC network port of
the debugging machine through the HUB to ensure that the 128 addresses of the TIPB or DRTB board
can be pinged on the PC.

2. You need to know the TIPB and DRTB boards on which the connection takes place, and the DSP
number and channel number to be used. First found in the core network side of the phone occupies the
pcm number and time slot number, then iBSC found the pcm number corresponding to the iTC side of
the pcm number, and then telnet to the iTC CMP board, enter this command: TCATER_PrintfTCCSByACIC
IBSC office number, pcm number on the iTC side, and slot number

If it is a multi-CMP module, you can not determine which module the service instance is in. You need to
try it on each CMP until the command outputs the contents. According to the output information,
determine the board, DSP number, and channel number of TIPB and DRTB:

TIPB board -Ater SLN-Unit, the unit number of the TIPB board,

TIPB single board DSP number - Ater SLN-Sunit, on-board 14 DSP DSP SLN-Sunit values from 9 to 22,

Channel number on TIPB single board DSP - When CHANNEL TYP = 0, that is Ater SLN-Index * 8 + Ater
CIC-SubTs * 2 at full rate, Ater SLN-Index * 8 when CHANNEL TYP = 1 + Ater CIC-SubTs * 2 + Spare, where
the Spare may be 0 or 1, print no output, listening to both values try. Note that in versions prior to 1 to
8, the channel number calculation on TIPB single-board DSPs is Ater SLN-Index * 4 + Ater CIC-SubTs,
regardless of full rate or half rate.

DRTB board - TC SLN-Unit, the unit number of the DRTB board,

DRTB board DSP number - TC SLN-Sunit, on-board 14 DSP DSP SLN-Sunit values from 9 to 22,

DRTB The channel number on the DSP board - TC SLN-Index, 80 channels on the DRTB DSP The SLN-
Index value is from 0 to 79.

3, start DspToolServer.exe, reduced in the lower right corner of the screen, right-click, configure the
Board IP. To configure the DRTB board with IP address 128.0.33.1 as an example, add board type: DRTB -
14-chip DSP - small mode (big-endian not tick), new board: board no - ).

4. Start MBGsmTcSpec.exe, select DRTB, and select board no.

5, View and veneer connection status, the state is connected to be able to monitor.

6, select tcu special, and then select the DSP, select the target slot number (ie, channel number, from
the above step 2), click the "play" button, with headphones monitor four points up and down sound

A) Uplink receiving data (IP Packet) Upstream data, IP packets received from the TIPB

B) Uplink sending data (A Interface) upstream data, after TC conversion to the A port of the PCM stream

C) Downlink sending data (IP Packet) Downstream data, which is sent to TIPB after TC conversion

D) Downlink receiving data (A Interface) Downstream data, received from the A port PCM stream

If you are listening to a TIPB board, select DSP, select the desired time slot number (ie, the channel
number, from step 2 above), click the "play" button, and use the headphones to monitor the four-

A) Uplink receiving data (Abis Interface) upstream data, received from the Ater mouth PCM stream

B) Uplink sending data (IP Packet) uplink data, IP packets sent to DRTB after TIPB conversion

C) Downlink sending data (Abis Interface) downlink data, through the TIPB conversion to the Ater port
after the PCM stream

D) Downlink receiving data (IP Packet) Downstream data, received from the DRTB IP packet
