The bar graph shows the percentage of each region’s male and female

population aged over fifteen who can read and write in five region Africa,
America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. In general, the percentage of the male
population aged over fifteen who can read and write is higher than the
percentage of the female in all five region. Africa's region has the lowest
percentage of male and female who can read and write. The percentage of the
female who cannot read and write in Africa is about 38.5% and male is 61.7%,
with this low percentages, Africa has shown that the percentage of men and
women in their region who cannot go to school is very low. Asian is in fourth
place with the percentage of female and male who can read and write at 66%
and 76.6%. This percentage shows that Asia is a region with an increasing trend
and is on the path to development compared to Africa. At the top are Europe
and Oceania. The percentage of women and men who can read and write in
these two regions is much higher than the percentage in Africa and Asia. In
these two areas, the percentages of both female and male are not much different,
showing that the education system in both areas is very developed and invested
in.
