I NTROUCTION:

A resort is a self-contained commercial establishment that tries to provide most

of a vacationer's wants, such as food, drinks ,lodging, sports and entertainment.
The term resort may be used for a hotel property that provides an array of
amenities, typically including entertainment and recreational activities. While
designing the cottages by the riverside, care should taken to see that nothing
disturbs the natural flow of water - be it in the way the cottages is built, the way
it functions or the facilities it offer. Due to its ideal location, it particularly is a
lovely place for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the rivers . The cottages will
be built using the age-old technique of timber bonded architecture. Usage of
stone and timber walls and stretches of green, it should look as it has just risen
up from the ground by the river .Resorts are the perfect place for such people
who can happily spend time with families and friends.

W HAT IS RESORT:

Resort is a place to spend a holiday for

relaxation and recreation so that one can
give dynamism to their leisure time.

Resort is place that is frequented for

holidays or recreation or for a particular
purpose

One can go and swim in resort, can have

lunch, can go just to pass time, plan an over
night stay and lit campfire etc.,

A resort can function as a conference center,

as a meeting canter , as a banquette as a
restaurant ,as a health club and various Resort
other functions of resort could be day
serving and night serving and it provides the
cuisine service .

Tourism development and to develope the economic status of the city

To get people out of their busy life Creating the naturalistic

environment and bringing people close to nature .

To create spaces which can suffice all needs related to leisure and
tourism.

Use of locally available and eco friendly material to put less impact on
natural environments

Make analytical study of the functional requirements of resort and

implement efficient design to carry out the functions smoothly.

S COPE:
The Resort with recreational facilities possess wide range of scope

If we analyze the present trend of internal tourism and need of

leisure place ,then it is acceptable to have multifunctional resorts,
which not only focus on overnight but also concern day services too.

For internal tourism , there is no trend of going hotels in weekend ,

due to their location on core urban area . They intend to go some
distance far from city so that they can enjoy the environment and
freshness there.

Resort tourism can provide the best solution to internal tourism.

For external tourism, it will function as a luxurious which provides all

the facilities with in its boundary so as to make their stay pleasing and
exotic.

It will help to promote resort tourism and encourage international

tourists to come here once just to stay in this very resort. ultimately it
will enhance tourism sector of country.
