Resume Workshop
Student-athletes will learn how to develop a professional resume. There will be a panel of
employees from various jobs that will provide useful tips and techniques for getting jobs.
Presented by Coastal Carolina Career Services, Student-Athlete Enrichment, &
SAAS

Career Fair
Student-athletes will be able to learn career development techniques allowing them to
engage in a unique opportunity to get first-hand knowledge of employment trends and
specific job openings.

Self-defense- Female athletes (team building)


Female student-athletes will learn various skills that will help them protect themselves in
certain situations. R.A.D. will demonstrate realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to do
when someone is in danger.

Creating a social media brand and Networking Seminar


Student-athletes will gain more knowledge of what goes into creating a social media brand
and how it can be utilized in their own career. Student-athletes will learn how to network to
enhance their brand on and off the field.
Presented by Student-Athlete Enrichment and guest speaker Dr Muckensturm

Mental Health Sports Performance


Students will gain more insight into mental thoughts that can help them through their careers
on and off the field. Spencer Goffigan will emphasize the importance of mental health to
student-athletes.

Adopt a police officer, Public Safety (All Semester)


Student-athletes will be able to communicate with the team’s allocated Police Officer and
learn more about the safety measures of the school. This will allow student-athletes to ask
questions if needed.

Financial Advising
Student-athletes will learn how to finance and save money. This seminar will provide the student-
athletes with different techniques that will be useful in the future.

Soft skills training


Student-athletes will learn how to have the correct etiquette when in a business setting. For
example, how to eat and drink when networking.

Dress for Success training


Student-athletes will learn how to dress professionally for the real world. This will allow student-
athletes to learn how to tie a tie and understand what to wear to interviews and work.
