INTRODUCTION

The need to satisfy customers for success in any


commercial enterprise is very obvious. Customers are
the sole reason for the existence of commercial
establishments. Thus, the core activity and perhaps one
of the most important activities of any company is to
attract and retain customers. The two-wheeler industry
has been going steadily over the years all over the
world. India is not an exception for that. Today India is
the second largest manufactures of two wheelers
produced and sold. Until 1990 geared scooters
dominated the two wheelers market so much so that
their sales equaled the combined sales of motor cycles
and mopeds.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

o Primary objectives
To find out the consumer buying behaviour of TVS
Jupiter, Suzuki access, Honda Activa with
reference to Chiplun city.

o Secondary objectives
1. To know the awareness about SUZUKI vehicle
among the vehicle’s users.
2. To find the opinion of the respondents regarding
SUZUKI vehicle, like cost price, mileage, and
maintenance cost.
3. To study the importance criteria the consumers
looks for the product performance.
4. To know market position of SUZUKI motors in
the market.
5. To analyse the impact of behavioural factors of
consumers for choosing particular brand.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Sample Design
The sampling includes the respondents of TVS
SUZUKI Customers.
Sample Size
By Making use of convenience sampling 62
respondents have been selected
Area of Study
The study is conferred to Coimbatore city. Hence,
respondents are residing around Coimbatore city have
been collected.
Data
Data required of the study is primary in nature. Primary
data collected by making use of questionnaire. A
research design is considered as the framework or plan
for a study that guides as well as helps the data
collection and analysis of data. Present study is an
analytical and descriptive in nature and based on
empirical study. The data was collected from both
primary and secondary sources. The primary source of
data is respondents concerned and collected by using a
predefined questionnaire.
The secondary sources include books, articles,
periodicals, newspapers, various reports, websites etc.
Data Sources
The study is based on both primary and secondary data.
Secondary Data
Secondary data is collected from the company records
publications of Journals, Newspapers and Websites.
LIMITATIONS
Due to resources and time constraints the study was
limited to only area of Chiplun, since the sample size
was 62. So, finding and concluding of the study are
only suggestive not conclusive in spite of the best and
honest efforts. Basically, based on primary data, hence
we cannot argue that the research is applicable in each
condition and place.

SAMPLING PLAN
• We take sample of the 62 respondents from the
Chiplun city to their answer. We use the primary
data i.e., questionnaire to know the reaction of
respondents.
• We have targeted the consumers who are:
age group between 18 above.
• Both males & females.
• The targeted consumer that we have surveyed is 62
from Chiplun.
• We have prepared different types of questionnaires
where we have targeted the consumer who are
consumer of moped.

IMPORTANCE

In terms of value Access 125 is better as it has


better mileage compared to Jupiter, better engine
power, ground clearance and storage. Access
comes with 124cc whereas Jupiter comes with
109cc engine. If you get better power with better
mileage 55 km per liter low maintenance pickup is
awesome and beautiful for a peaceful journey.
Superb scooter in the market it has great experience
in the city and gives great mileage. Suzuki access
125 is too good at the price of the vehicle.

CONCLUSION

• Suzuki Motors is gaining it’s place in the


market through new launch in the vehicles.
• People are impressed with look of Suzuki
vehicles.
• Most of the customers are satisfied with the
vehicles they have.
• Majority of people would prefer the vehicles to
others.
