2.1.

Statement of Need for Action:

a. Description of Problem:

.The youth tend to enthusiastically engage in following and participating in

contemporary trends, often characterized by provocation and challenges.

b. Signs, Symptoms, Effects of Problem:

Trends on TikTok that challenge norms are seen by young people as a way to
express their ego. It's like the saying, "If one person runs a red light, it's wrong, but if
many do, it's okay." In other words, doing inappropriate things is more acceptable
when done in a big group.

Nevertheless, the impact of such trends transcends the realm of entertainment.

They can actually change how people think in society. Behaviors that used to be
considered unethical might start to seem okay, and sometimes, people might even
think it's a good thing.

c. Example, Narrative or Testimony: Blue Whale Challenge

The "Blue Whale challenge" was reported to be an online "suicide game"

aimed at teenagers which set 50 tasks over 50 days. The tasks escalate throughout the
50 days and on the last day of the challenge the only way to “win” is to die by suicide.
Players of the challenge can’t stop playing once they’ve started; they are blackmailed
and cyberbullied into completing the “game”. The challenge was alleged to be linked
to numerous deaths around the world

2.2. Importance of Problem:

The essential need and significance of restricting young individuals from

unconsciously adhering to trends should not be underestimated.

→ Establishing a wholesome environment and building a positive mindset for the

youth.

a. Extent of Problem:

The youth often emulate negative trends on social media, perceiving eccentric
behaviors as life standards and righteous actions. Consequently, they tend to develop
a skewed mindset, promoting real-life provocations against others.

b. Facts/Statistics:

On TikTok, there's a trend where people with tattoos show off, demand money,
threaten each other, and use offensive language. They're kind of like online gangsters,
and one popular figure in this trend is called "Khá Bảnh."

In an interview with Báo Tiền Phong, Dr. Vũ Thu Hương, an expert in

educational psychology, expressed concern that the idolization of Khá Bảnh by the
youth fosters an environment where violence and legal transgressions are glorified
and revered as heroic acts. This, in turn, may lead to an increase in both the severity
and quantity of serious legal cases.

Following the harmful videos of Khá Bảnh doing things like threatening other
gangs and collecting debts has encouraged some kids to start fights. This is making
school violence worse.

c. Who is Affected:

Not only do videos featuring harmful provocative trends impact viewers, but
they can also have long-term consequences for the individuals engaging in such
behaviors.
2. NEED

2.1. Statement of Need for Action:

People often impose the belief that using an anonymous account is solely for
malicious purposes such as fraud or personal attacks. However, in reality, "every coin
has two sides", and we believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

a. Description of Problem: In the current digital era, utilizing social media

with real accounts entails numerous risks, including the potential theft of personal
information and privacy violations. Individuals are susceptible to infringements on
freedom of speech, and there is an increased vulnerability to account theft.

b. Signs, Symptoms, Effects of Problem

Security Risk: Increased risk of information insecurity.

damage to the user's reputation.

Social Pressure: The constant need to maintain a positive online image (living in the
virtual world).

health.

Limited Communication in Relationships: Users avoid direct and open

communication, fearing societal prejudice.

→ Impact: Online communication becomes cautious and less authentic.

Being Tracked by Advertisements: Personal information from real accounts may be

exploited to monitor online behavior.

→ Impact: Despite more personalized ads, there is still the annoyance

factor and a reduction in privacy.

c. Example, Narrative or Testimony:

Let me share a story about my friend, someone most people probably know – Mai.
Mai, who typically uses her real account, fell virtual victim to a hacker. The hacker
then took over Mai's account and started messaging Mai's friends on her friend list,
requesting to borrow money. Unfortunately, many friends trusted the imposter "Mai"
and sent money, all while the real Mai remained completely unaware of the unfolding
situation.
2.2. Importance of Problem: Sử dụng tài khoản ẨN DANH có thể giúp bảo vệ thông
tin cá nhân và giảm nguy cơ mất an toàn trực tuyến, bảo vệ người dùng tránh khỏi các
hình thức tấn công mạng và lừa đảo

The use of an ANONYMOUS account can help safeguard personal information and
reduce the risk of online threats, protecting users from cyberattacks and fraud.

a. Extent of Problem:

Privacy protection involves ensuring that personal information is not tracked and
preventing the sharing of unwanted personal information. Simultaneously, it also
guards against online attacks by maintaining the safety of information from hackers
and preventing surveillance from malicious software.Therfore, it minimizes risks
associated with security breaches, enhances the security of personal information, and

 Reduce the risk of online marketing.

- Promoting Personal Freedom:

 Explore and discuss without constraints.

b. Facts/Statistics: For security reasons, determining precise figures regarding

users of anonymous accounts is challenging. Therefore, it is obvious to see that using
anonymous accounts is a relatively safe approach to prevent the exploitation of
personal data.

c. Who is Affected:

Anonymity can have positive impacts on individuals with specific needs and
desires, especially when used effectively and responsibly. In this way, practicing
anonymity not only benefits the account user but can also propagate positive values
from the user to their online audience or other online users.

Example/Narrative and/or Facts/Statistics: Nhân Vật Chính V trong

"V for Vendetta" và Tác Dụng Tích Cực của Ẩn Danh:

V, the main character in 'V for Vendetta,' uses anonymity, symbolized

by the Guy Fawkes mask, not only for personal safety but also to inspire
resistance and solidarity within the community. This anonymity serves as both
a shield against government pursuit and a powerful symbol of freedom and
rebellion in a challenging world.
