break. After 5 minutes, I will call them back, telling them that
we are going to play a kahoot for the remainder of class.

When we come back from our break, I will provide students

with a worksheet where they will demonstrate their
understanding of all three literary terms, I have just taught. I
will give the students 10 minutes to complete their
worksheets, collecting them at the end.

Differentiation:
By using different materials such as the Owl
Booklet, slideshows, the Writer’s Workshop
booklet and a Kahoot, every individual
student will be able to participate throughout
the lesson. Ipads can be provided for any
student without access to a cellphone. All
students have access to the booklets.
