PepsiCo and EA combine forces
PepsiCO and EA Sports unveil revolutionary partnership moving forward

[Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, 07/11/2023]- The global cooperation powerhouse PepsiCo has announced a
new multiyear partnership with EA sports.

The collaboration will include in-game integrations, on-pack promotions, exclusive and in-game rewards
for current and up and coming EA video game titles like FC. PepsiCo has also referenced their future
plans for the collaboration as well. They aim to making a impact on EA’s competitive gaming scene

Adam Warner, the head of global sports and partnerships for PepsiCo touches on how he wants to unite
some big industries in the world, football, music and the gaming industry, with this deal. He talks about
how both corporations have a shared agenda and working together will only make their dreams and
aspirations come a lot sooner than later.

“We have somewhat of a crush on each other from a brand perspective, there’s very mutual opportunity
here, we realized and sat down with EA properly 6-12 months ago to each other's reach from an audience
perspective,” said Adams Warner

We live in a world we’re strange collaborations are becoming the new norm. All the way from artists like
Travis Scott and Gunna having collaborations with McDonalds to Nike having collaborations with the fan
favorite game Fortnite and with Ben and Jerry’s. So, seeing something like EA and PepsiCo was never
out of the range of possibilities. But each collaboration like this has one main focus, which is to share one
another’s consumer pool to boost sales and spread influence.

EA (Electronic Arts) was founded by an apple employee in 1982. The headquarters are in Redwood City,
in Northern California. EA is a game development company that is known for releasing popular video
game titles like FIFA, Battlefield, Apex Legends, Need for Speed, and Madden. PepsiCo first originated
in in 1898 by a man named Caleb D. Bradham. The drink gained traction quickly and became a well
know corporation in 1902. PepsiCo owns a lot of other well-known companies such as lays, Gatorade,
Tropicana, Lipton and Aquafina.
