Rhane: Hi Good Day Everyone! I am Shantal Rhane Nicban a Grade 4 Student.

Rhane: Today we’re gonna learn about two types of mixtures, The Homogeneous
and Heteregenous Mixtures.

Rhane: The first thing we will do is mix the Solid to Liquid Mixture.

Rhane: I have here a MUD and a WATER

(Dalawang cup yung isa may mud yung isa water, ihalo yung mud sa water wag
galawin hayaan lang)

Rhane: MUD is solid, but when I mixed it with water, the shape changed. The
particles of mud become suspended in the water added, and water molecules
interacting with mud particles allow mud to loosen up and change shape. So, we can
call it a Heterogeneous Mixtures.

Rhane: Next is the Solid to liquid mixtures

Rhane: I have here the OIL AND WATER

(Dalawang cup yung isa may oil yung isa water, ihalo yung oil sa water ishake yung
cup)

Rhane: The first thing that you will obseve is that the oil and water not stay mixed
together no matter how hard you shake the cup. Instead, oil slowly rises to the top
of the water. So this is a Homogenous Mixture.

Rhane: And lastly, the SOLID to SOLID

Rhane: The first cup contains SUGAR and the second cup contains SALT

(tatlong cup yung isa may sand yung isa sugar at yung isa may water, ihalo yung
sand sa sugar, tas after ihalo, ibuhos yung water sa pinaghalong sugar at sand,
hayaan lang ng ilang minutes wag isshake)

Rhane: Sand is not soluble in water, but sugar is soluble in water, so the mixture can
be dissolved in water. As you can see, sugar forms a solution with water and sand
settles down. So that the sugar to sand mixture is Heterogeneous.

Rhane: So that's all for today, I hope you learned something from me. Thank you for
watching, byeeee!
