Direction: Read and understand the question carefully, and then you are free to
use statistical tools like Jeffreys’s Amazing Statistical Program (JASP) or any
preferred software to solve the given problems.

1. A test in Statistics was given to two groups of Business Administration students

major in Financial Management and Marketing Management. The following
table shows thetest scores of the ten students from each major:

Test if there is a significant difference between the test scores of Financial

Managementand Marketing Management students at 5% level of significance.

1. State the 𝐻0 and 𝐻𝑎 hypotheses.

𝐻0: There is no significant difference between the test scores of Financial Management and
Marketing Management in Statistics.

𝐻𝑎: There is a significant difference between the test scores of Financial Management and
Marketing Management in Statistics.

There is sufficient evidence to support that there is a significant difference between the
test scores of Financial Management and Marketing Management students in Statistics.
2. The Director of the Human Resource Management Services (HRMS) is interested to
determine whether the training course increases the teaching performance of the 20

3. Let us consider three groups of seven students, where each group is subjected to one
of the three strategies or methods of teaching. Group A was exposed to Exploratory
Approach, Group B for Cooperative Learning, and Group C for Traditional Method. The
