Alexandria.

BIRTH Daughter of Ptolemy XII Auletes, king


of Egypt.
She had two older sisters, Berenice IV
and Cleopatra VI, a younger sister
Arsinoe IV and two younger brothers,
Ptolemy XIII and Ptolemy XIV.

When the king died in 51 B.C.,

In the third year of his reign, Ptolemy
took control of the government and
