Visual inspections indicate that the composition of the samples (particle size distribution) does not fully correspond to the results of sieve analysis. Despite the test results being presented in a highly detailed manner, we are particularly concerned about the contradictory outcomes observed in the sieve analyses, 3+ On the other hand, the laboratory report does not contain any statement indicating that ‘whether these materials are suitable for bedding and backfill purposes or not. ‘The Engineer is of the opinion that the analysis results provided by the current laboratory are inconsistent, as mentioned above, and they do not reflect the true particle distribution of the collected samples.
