Narrator: Vincent grew up with a loving family. He is smart and obedient.

Even though Vincent came


from a rich family he is still working because he wants to make his own money and be independent.

Scene 1:Home

Setting: Vincent’s cozy living room.

(Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez, sit on the couch. Vincent enters, wearing his uniform ready to go to
school.)

Vincent (Main Character): (Excited) Hey, Mom, Dad, I aced the history test yesterday!

Joshua (Father): (Smiling) That’s fantastic Vincent! We’re so proud of you.

Maddy (Mother): (Warmly) You’ve been working hard, and it’s paying off. We’ll celebrate tonight.

Vincent: (Happy) Thank you Mom! Thank you Dad! I’ll be going to school.

Scene 2: School

Setting: School cafeteria during lunch.

(Vincent sits at a table with friends, Braille and Lovely.)

Braille (Friend 1): (Excited) Hey Vincent, are you coming to the party this Friday?

Vincent: (Apologetic) I wish I could go, but I have a project due next week and I can't take a day off at my
work. Can't make it this time.

Lovely (Friend 2): (Understanding) No worries. We'll catch you at the next one.

Vincent: (Happy) Thank you for understanding!

Scene 3: Office

Setting: Office, After class.

(Vincent approaches his teacher.)

Vincent: (Nervous) Good day Ms. Lee! I heard that you wanted to talk with me.

Fraulien (Teacher): (Welcoming) Yes, please take your seat. (Disappointed) I observed that your grades in
your Math subject got lower compared to your grade last semester, may I know the reason behind it?

Vincent: (Sad) I'm sorry Ma'am! It's just that I find Math subject boring because I can't understand it well
that's why sometimes I'm skipping the class and just studying for the other subjects.
Fraulien: (Convincing/Persuading) You know that skipping the class would only cause you failure right? I
know that you are running for honors this year, but you will not be joining the list if you failed one
subject. I suggest that you should learn to love this subject Vincent.

Vincent: (Confident) I will Ma’am! Starting from now on, I will not skip my Math classes and I will do my
best to aced in this subject.

Fraulien: (Happy) That’s great Vincent! Thank you for coming, you may go now.

Vincent: (Smiling) Thank you Ms. Lee!

Scene 4: Workplace

Setting: At the pantry, during a break.

(Neliza and Vincent are sitting at the table.)

Neliza: (Curious) Vincent, how do you manage to work and study? I’m struggling with just working that’s
why I can’t study at the same time you know.

Vincent: (Smiling) It’s all about time management and setting priorities, Neliza.

Neliza: (Concerned) Just remember, don’t push yourself too hard.

Vincent: (Smiling) Of course I won’t.

Scene 5: Home

Setting: At the dining room

(Mr. and Mrs. Lopez are sitting at the table.) (Vincent came home wearing his uniform at work.)

Vincent: (Tired) Mom, Dad, I’m home.

Joshua: (Smiling) Take a seat son, dinner is ready.

Vincent: (Surprised) Wow! Am I missing something? Why is there a lot of food?

Maddy: (Laughing) Did you forget? We’re having a celebration because you aced your history exam
yesterday.

Vincent: (Laughing) Oh yes I forgot. Thank you for the dinner mom and dad! Let’s eat.

(The family eat and talk about there whereabouts. After that, they all went to take a rest.)
